  • Great Scope
Style: MX1 Reticle | Black
Purchased the 1-10x28 and this scope is awesome. It is clear all the way from 1x to 10x. For the money this scope is well worth the money. I am not brand specific so I own several different brands but Monstrum knocked this one out of the park. I am kind of a scope snob about any brand and I will say again that the scope I received is awesome. I can’t believe how clear it is at 10x. Definitely buy one and try it out, I am very well pleased with mine. ... show more

  • Won't hold zero.
Style: MX1 Reticle | Black
"Clicks are closer to 1/2in at 25yds, and inconsistent. One clicked moved me over 2in at 25, the next 4 clicks moved me 1/8th of an inch total. Finally got it sighted in pretty close. But the next magazine was all over the place. This was with a Ruger 10/22. Very dissatisfied, as a $250 optic should at least be mechanically sound. The glass is exactly what I was expecting for the price, and perfectly acceptable for a range toy. ... show more

  • Actually pretty good
Style: MX1 Reticle | Black
Using on a standard rifle build, for the price point this is a steal for 1*10 lpvo. Glass is decent would say on the level of my vortex strike eagle which cost almost 2x this price. I actually like the reticle and green/red options. The luminosity isn’t super bright but I’m able to see it clearly on a sunny day at the outside range. Max zoom to the 10x doesn't distort much and can still easily make out the target from 3inchs and up. Zero has held up after 200rds on a 5.56 platform, and audible clips and lock down turret just keeps things locked in once zeroed. This is a great alternative to higher priced scopes with these features. ... show more

  • Failed after 150 rnds... Banshee 1-6
Style: MX1 Reticle | Black
Mounted on an m4 and the eye piece started rotating with the magnification dial after approx 150 rnds of range use.... Unfortunate. The glass is clear and bright. The reticle is decent for windage and elevation holdover. The provided mount is simple and solid. Returned to monstrum under warranty. I also have their 1-4 scopes mounted on a 10-22 and it's held up well so far. We'll see how the next one does I guess? Had considered purchasing a 1-8 or 1-10 Banshee for an AR 10.....Will probably spend the extra on a V-Strike Eagle or Swampfox. Update: Returned the scope at my cost( $28 shipping from Alaska) Received the warranty replacement in about 5 days. Haven't had a chance to zero and test this one yet. Will update. ... show more

  • Great LPVO
Style: MX1 Reticle | Black
Monstrum Tactical’s new line of G3 and Spectre are a great option in the LPVO world. Super clear glass, rugged, and stand up again a lot of the leading competitors in the market. Highly Recommend!

  • Monstrum Strikes Again!
Style: MX1 Reticle | Black
This is a large rifle scope. It is long, it is heavy, but the optics are sharp and the red dot feature is spot on. Its hard to find a 10x LPVO, but this one is really awesome. It's built to take a beating in the field. The knobs are heavy duty, the dust covers on the ends of the scope are heavy duty, the magnification ring is heavy duty. This scope will last a long time. The optic has five level of both red and green LED lighting for just about any light condition. Level 4 was more than enough for bright sun, and there was one level brighter. The box/graduated reticle is nice for quick target acquisition. Eye relief is really good especially in the 1-6 power range. Once you dial into the 10 power range your eye has to be pretty close to the optic to see through it. The lighted optic will hang in the dark part of the scope if your eye isn't close enough. That being said, there are almost no downs to this scope. The set knobs work on a pull out basis, and have audible and tactile clicks. A really nice feature for your dope book when stretching out for those longer shots. The other super feature of the LED optic is that the center dot is tiny and a bit subdued compared to the lighted target box. You won't have the red dot obscuring the entire target at distance. This scope is worth what you pay. Its high quality, and packed with features. My only gripe would be the lack of see through dust covers as an option, but that is minor in light of this masterpiece of glass and aluminum. ... show more

  • No way!
Style: MX1 Reticle | Black
I should have known better than to buy cheap. Look great feels great. I sighted it in at 50 yards then went out to 100. Sighted it in at the 100 and it would not hold zero. Yes I made sure all mounts were at spec. Maybe it is a good optic but it wasn’t for me.
