  • 3.0 out of 5 stars Made in USA, but these are not even equal to OEM
I returned these because found out that they are less than OEM standard. I have a light truck and even though I don't mistreat it, I still think that a little tougher shock is required. Wish they would have said something about meeting or not meeting OEM standards.

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars cant feel small bumps works good
when i use to drive on the highway you could feel the bumps in the road real bad where they tar the cracks in the road, they are small bumps but there is a bunch and you feel them real bad if you have bad shocks, but i put this shock on my car and now i do not feel the little bumps at all, i use to have to avoid the small bumps but now i dont have to because you do not even feel them with this new shock , so i would have to say buy it, they are good. ... show more

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars seems to be good quality
I purchased these to replace the gas shocks on my truck. the Old shocks creaked and squeaked. these seem MUCH smoother. Very easy to install! On the Flip side, the old ones were seized in, and were an absolute fight to get out. I'll keep an eye on everything and update the review if these end up not holding up, but for 30$ for the pair, seems like a steal to me. ... show more

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars Installed perfect and worked great for getting rid of the stock Ford air ride system which had leaks. Saved a bunch of money!
I ordered from warehouse deals as most of the bad reviews were because the shocks didn't fit their vehicle. One of the shocks didn't have the hardware in the box even though it said it came with everything and was new condition. Amazon made it right and sent me out another one which included all the hardware and I returned the one missing the hardware. Shocks installed just fine on 1998 Ford Explorer. I used these to get rid of the old air ride shocks and do away with the air ride system. They seem to be a great replacement and my father said the SUV drove much smoother and straight down the road, time will be the real factor. I would say for the $33 I paid shipped that you can't beat the price compared to in store at a local auto parts store. I will update the review if they fail prematurely or anything worth noting. Happy with the purchase and seem to be the Monroe quality that I'm used to. ... show more

  • 1.0 out of 5 stars Will not fit coil front spring ranger's .
After headaches these shocks fit only rangers with torsion bars. My mechanic installed and I drove only a few miles before I realized there was problems. Shocks were removed and new Monroe #37153 installed. I have contacted Monroe about this problem, they have not got back with me. These shocks were advertised to fit. I am out the cost of these shocks. I now need to pay for front wheel balancing and possibly a front end alignment and new shocks that fit. I hope they will reimburse me at the very least for the shocks which are not designed for my truck. I know it’s been more than 30 days, but this is no fault of mine. This is a costly and dangerous, and needs to be addressed now. ... show more
