This took a while to assemble. Really surprised about how thin/ flimsy the shelves are. The shelves we’re not deep enough for my husband’s size 11 shoes ( had to angle them to close the doors).

Okay, so I still need to put the other doors on - the preset holes are not in the right space and will require a bit of handiwork to attach, but really not a big deal as it is the PERFECT size and exactly what I needed. The instructions are the the easiest, but the person who helped put it together for me was patient and I am so happy with this piece. The floor in this space has this industrial valve that comes out of the ground so moist furniture pieces wouldn’t work, but this one was perfect because of the way the bottom is and I was able to leave off the back pieces.     • Versatile. A great option for smaller spaces!
We love our “shoe stand”. However, for us it is doubling or tripling as a toy storage, shoe stand, and tv stand. We needed a tv stand that didn’t come out too far, due to the placement of our door in our small home. I looked for couch tables or narrow tv stands but I couldn’t find the style or height I wanted all in one, at a decent price. I decided to look for a shoe stand and this was perfect. Tall enough for my 1 year old not to climb, the color I wanted, narrow, and versatile. We decided to keep a couple shelves out to fit her little bike then adjusted the rest to fit other cute toys. She can have toys in the living room and I can have peace knowing they can be hid away. I will try to upload a picture of this. Also, we use the bottom two shelves of the right side for shoes. And the top right shelves we have yet to fill. Now we also have teo spare shelves in case any break or get damaged. I will say it’s light and doesn’t feel like insanely good quality, but it doesn’t feel flimsy either. I think it fit our needs great and I think it’s worth the price but I would have given it 5 stars if it was a tad bit sturdier. ... show more

The directions use a microscopic font. The holes drilled for the doors are generic for both inside and outside doors. The assembler must decide which holes to use for the hinges and it is not clear at all. Hinges are provided assembled but shown as disassembled in the instructions leading to confusion. The ~60 larger screws are all square drive and a hex key is provided for assembly - which would take forever. Using a power drill speeds up the process but the aluminum used is so soft it buggers the square drive thus rounding them and making them unusable. I had to go to Home Depot and by $20 of screws to assemble. Very poorly designed. ... show more

In assembling the unit the parts are NOT labeled for convenience at all. It would be much easier it the parts had a post-it on each piece to identify which part goes where. It would be more time friendly if it is labeled. I had an expert person who assembled the shoe cabinet which looks beautiful in my entry way. It also is good to hold my purse so it is not out in the open and I always know where it is along with my KEYS! ... show more
