  • Amazing Volleyball.
Color: NCAA Official - Red, White, Blue
This is a fantastic ball with excellent grip, making it easy to control even when sweaty while still maintaining a soft feel. It’s incredibly good for setting, though it can be hard to set without any spin to it. Aside from that, it’s one of the best balls I’ve used, second only to the Mikasa V200W. The ball also has a great hitting feeling and performs exceptionally well for topspin serves. While I primarily use topspin, I’ve noticed it also produces a decent float serve. It does get dirty quickly, but most of the dirt comes off with a few hard hits. Compared to standard Tachikara and Mikasa balls, it’s slightly smaller but has impressive bounce. (Depending on how much air is pumped ofc.) 10/10 also love the color way, some of the pattern seems to be coming off though, but it hasn’t affected the performance so i’d say it has great durability. I’m not a great passer and the ball being smaller makes it a little harder but it feels so rewarding when you pass this ball flawlessly. I recommend this over any other volleyball, it just feels great. ... show more

  • The Best Volleyball I've Ever Played With!
Color: FIVB Approved - Red, White, Green
I play indoor volleyball 3-4 times a week, and I've played with different kinds of volleyballs. This one is, by far, the best volleyball I have ever played with. I know that sounds like a gross exaggeration, but no other ball in the world can compare to this! It only took 2-3 games to break it in, which is much shorter than previous new balls I've used. The grip on this ball is amazing, and it's perfect for setting. I find that some volleyballs are slippery and difficult to grip properly (Mikasa brand balls are like that). This would be a great ball for someone who's learning how to set. Even the people on my team who aren't good setters say that their sets are better when they use this. The grip also makes it easy to overhand serve the ball. It's gotten to the point that I can't serve well with other balls because I'm so used to the amazing grip on this one. This ball is harder than most of the ones I've used, which means that spikes and hits come down on the other side of the court extremely fast. If you want a soft ball, then this is definitely not for you. You may want to try something like Molten's Super Touch. I personally don't mind the hardness. One minor issue I have with this ball is that it's very bouncy. When I first started passing with this, it went higher than most volleyballs I've used. Because of this, you definitely have to be mindful of how you pass the ball and make sure that your ball control is on point. Although I recommend this for beginning setters, I don't recommend this for beginning passers because of the bounciness. An experienced player can adjust to the ball's bounciness, but beginners probably won't be able to. Mikasa's MVA200 is a good ball for beginning passers. However, the bounciness still doesn't take away from the other amazing qualities this ball has. I can't comment on the longevity since I've only owned it for a few weeks, but my friends who own this ball say that they've had it for years and haven't had any major issues with it. I'll update my review in a few months and comment on the condition of the ball. Mine came deflated, which wasn't too much of a problem because I own a pump. However, in the future, Amazon, please don't deflate balls before shipping them! Edit on October 19, 2015 - I've owned this for almost a year, and it's still holding up strong! It's much dirtier than it was when I first bought it, but that's not surprising since I use it multiple times a week. I like that I don't have to pump air into it frequently - I've only inflated it 3 times since buying it. Definitely worth purchasing if you play intermediate or advanced level volleyball. ... show more

  • Great ball as long as you get a real one.
Color: FIVB Approved - Red, White, Green
First purchase was sus. The bag was really thin and flimsy. The ball had major creases all over it. The biggest give away was the lack of the hexagon pattern. The seams also had gaps in it. I returned it and purchased another and the difference is night and day.

  • Texture
Color: USAV Official - Red, White, Blue
I had recently bought this ball for indoor volleyball class and as a setter this ball is perfect. The hexagon design is great and has a good grip even when my hands get sweaty at times. Had no defects as another molten ball I ordered and didnt lose air when not in use. I would highly recommend this ball for people who want quality without the tough feeling of a leather ball. ... show more

  • Great ball but with small issues
Color: FIVB Approved - Red, White, Green
I had to return the first one due to poorly glued panels and air leaking valve(not the valve itself but the valve area - there was a gap between the side of the valve and the panel). As for the second one, the panels are connected and glued much better but the valve area is still leaking air at a very small rate, but overall I'm happy. ... show more
