I’m so grateful to find a notebook in this size, so many are 3.5x5.5” and are just too big, this is the perfect size to fit in my front pocket! It’s not very thick at all (more on that shortly) which makes it really nice to not take up a lot of space. For a small little journal/notebook it is a fantastic size! I put a leather cover over it because it would be hammered after a couple of weeks without it. I have some issues that I hope Moleskine will resolve and it would be 5 stars. 1. The pages aren’t thick enough to prevent bleed through. That is when you write on one side of the paper, the other side you can easily see the writing on the back of the page. Well I love the size it wouldn’t take away if the paper quality could be improved. I realize this would increase the thickness a little bit but it’s already so small it would not make that big of a difference. 2. The pages are perforated, which if you were using it like a little grocery shopping list that’s fantastic, but for those of us who want to use it as a journal for a little notes and thoughts throughout the day, I wish they would come out with a version that did not have perforated pages. 3. Speaking of quality pages, I want these pages to be able to withstand decades of time, just like the little notebooks that people used years ago and increasing the quality of the paper for retention would be fantastic! ... show more

Grocery shopping, Things To Do This Weekend, etc. Finally, it came to me that I really need an inexpensive tiny, little book to carry in my shirt pocket. This is absolutely perfect. This notebook is truly pocket-sized, whether it's a front, back, or shirt pocket, even when it already has a phone or wallet in it. Pair it with a small pen like a Zebra, and it's the perfect notes-on-the-go solution. For those of us with scattered minds, this is great for jotting down shopping lists, names, reminders, or quick ideas. The materials quality is the right balance of quality and price. For something like this, I don't want it to be so nice that I'm worried about "wasting" it. The paper holds ink well without too much ghosting, and the binding has held up well. These are perfect for a small crossbody purse. Love the fact that the pages are perforated, so they are easy to tear out. These little notebooks have sturdy covers and nice-quality paper.

I work as a vet assistant/receptionist, so when I'm on the phone with clients, this is perfect for jotting down the info I need to relay to the doctor or put into an appointment. We typically use recycled paper from old papers, but sometimes I'm away from the main desk and this offers the perfect solution. It's small, which is exactly what I was looking for. It fits perfectly into scrub pockets without the risk of falling out when I'm bent over or on the floor with a patient. The pages are thin, but I use regular pens so it doesn't bleed through. The pages are perforated, which is great since I don't keep old notes and rip the page out immediately after finishing with it. I will say it isn't the easiest to rip out, but it isn't too bad. Obviously you get what you paid for - this is a cheap little book intended for short notes. I doubt it would hold up after continued use, but that's fine with me. My big complaint about every day carry notepads is that they're too large and bulky. I found one that was the right size but I wanted the option of perforated pages. These are perfect. They are small and thin. Slip them in any pocket, even a shirt pocket, and you'll hardly know they're there. The lined pages are just big enough for the normal jotting down of notes, ideas, or whatever suits you. You could slip a few business cards in them to keep them safe and available. I think these pads are more durable than most options on the market. You might want to keep one in a grab-and-go bag or your car's glove department.
