This looks modern, trendy and great and it's a breeze to set up. I am a tough critic but I actually am very pleased!!! I had everything I needed included and the design is simple but very strong! Ok so I spent $139 on this king size bed. I nice bed will cost closer to $1000 and I knew it wouldn’t be a Bassett bed, so I wasn’t expecting a lot….because I paid $139. This is not a “hand it down to my grandchildren” piece, but a “I need something cheap until I get my bed” kind of piece. With that mindset this is a good bed. Pros It’s cheap It’s fairly easy to set up I didn’t receive any faulty or miss sized pieces Cons It’s made like a bed that cost $139 It’s short It’s cheap material It won’t last forever I looks cheap Picture on Amazon makes it look bigger and better (I expected this though) It’s a tad small for a king mattress…but it works I guess So I give it 4 stars because I got what I expected and all the parts came in. This bed frame and headboard is so nice! I actually really love how it looks and that it has all the extra details that my previous bed frame did not have. First, it comes with everything you need to assemble which is helpful when you lose all your tools in the moving shuffle. I appreciate that there is a metal frame and wooden slats that Velcro to prevent the slats from slipping. I do need to note that this box is HEAVYYYYYY! I had to rip the box open and take it piece by piece to get it into the room but once you start putting pieces together it’s pretty easy. The color is a little darker than picture but that doesn’t bother me and the price is amazing. Overall it’s a yes for me! ... show more

The bed itself is beautiful and seems like it would be sturdy, however the wooden slats that hold up the mattress are all uneven sizes. Only two would fit inside the enclosed frame all others were overlapping outside the frame??? I’m not sure what to do except cut each one to size correctly and then glue the Velcro back on each one. What a pain to have to go through all that. I don’t understand how something could go that terribly wrong with measuring wood slats considering there all supposed to be the same length. I’m a single lady that unfortunately don’t own the tools necessary to do this job so I’m only left with hopefully someone doing me a huge favor or having to pay so. So frustrating! ... show more

This is a great bed for the price. Sturdy and easy to assemble. When taking items out of box be aware that the headboard has the base in it. You have to unzip the back and the base is packed in there. I made the mistake thinking that they should have sent two boxes.
