The MoJack EZ MAX is a 24" collapsible lawn mower jack. It features a unique clutch system for easy lifting and automatic safety with a smooth release handle. It provides the right amount of torque when lifting light or heavy- duty lawn mowers or tractors. It is easy to assemble so you can use and store it anywhere. It's easy and safe for your lawn tractor, garden tractor and it fits most residential tractors and ZTR mowers. The lifting capacity is 450 lbs. lifting the front of the mower, not the total mower weight. Supreme lifting height of 24" high. I use this to lift my Ryobi RM480e mower and it works very well. Easy to lift, easy to lower, stores in very little space. I leave it fully assembled and park my mower right in front of it, so it takes up very little extra space and is always available for use. It uses a screw-type mechanism for raising and lowering, which feels very secure and requires no air pressure or hydraulics or fluids. Just a little light oil on the screw thread. It's got 3 built-in security stop points, at which the lifted weight is resting on the frame, rather than on the screw.. so you *could* leave it in a lifted position for long periods of time if it were necessary to do so, Assembly was very easy and took only a few minutes. The components are quite sturdy and seem to be well made. After assembly, the whole thing seems a little wobbly, but as soon as there's weight on it, it gets quite stable and sturdy. This model has a 450lb capacity, but since you're only lifting the front end of the mower, it would be able to lift quite a large mower. Lifting my little RM480e was child's play for it, It's possible to use a battery or wall-powered drill to turn the lifting.lowering screw, but the hand crank is ore convenient and quite easy to use, All in all, I'm quite satisfied with this product. Great product. Heavy-duty, thick weldments with reinforcing gussets. Easy bolt-together assembly, Acme screw for lifting and lowering. Everything was just right. Great instructions—clear and clean with good illustrations. One of the best things was the hardware packaging, with perforated slots to punch out the various screws, washers, pins, etc., one part at a time. I assembled it quickly (after finding the three metric sockets among my mixed-up tools) and raised my Husqvarna tractor-mower for its photograph. By the way, I'm an old guy (in my 80th year) and can raise it using the hand crank, but I prefer the electric drill method. Just be sure to remove the crank before using the drill or you'll knock yourself silly. That's also in the instructions. Also, a few quick-release pins let you fold the lift flat for storage. Things to know: Just as the instructions say, don't even think about lifting without the tire bands installed. ... show more

I bought this lift to change the blades on my Ferris 400S zero turn mower. I service the mower at my house to save money not having to pay someone else for simple maintenance. . The instructions were clear and assembling went without a hitch. It took me about about 30-40 minutes but your time may vary depending on how many interruptions come you way (cell calls, texts, children, wife, etc). I like that the small bolts, nuts, cotter pins and the like were secured in their own packet, organized and clearly labeled. After assembling, I secure the front tires with the straps and chocked the rear tires. I remembered someone mentioning in another review that it's important to release the parking brake so that the screw mechanism doesn't bind. The MoJack Easy Max easily lifted the mower. The mower weighs about 750 pounds and the lift is rated at 450 pounds. I figured the lift was raising about 275 pounds at the most. It took very little effort to turn the lift mechanism and there was no binding. The packaging says it lifts 24 inches and I found there was plenty of room to work under the mower. I highly recommend using an impact driver to remove the blade bolts since there was no way I was going to get those bolts off with a socket wrench. Using the lift made it so much easier and the bolts were no match for the impact driver. I highly recommend this lift for anyone who wants to quickly and safely change blades. I gave 4 out 5 stars because I think it should be sold for less. But it did perform the task and that's what counts. ... show more

assembly was less than a half hour. easy instructions. we chose to use the hand crank to raise and lower it but you can use a drill. its well worth the money and it’s very sturdy and safe . we have two 46 in cut cub cadets and are very happy with this lift!

I did a lot of research on lifts and kept coming back to this one. I have a 61 inch, Frazier zero turn mower, weight is approximately 1000 lbs. I ordered the lift from Amazon on June 1st, and it showed up on the 3rd. Everything was in the package, well wrapped and everything was marked. Assembly was very easy, instructions were great, only needed 2 wrenches, and had it assembled in about 45 minutes. I got out the mower, adjusted the lift pads to fit the width of the front tires and drove it on. Strapping the wheels in place is important, but once strapped it is solid. I was not sure how easy it would be to lift the mower, but it was very easy. You do not need a drill to operate the lift. In fact, you can turn the crank with 2 fingers, it's that easy. Once the mower was up, I tried shaking the jack, rock the mower, and the unit was very stable and solid. I crawled under the mower and felt very safe. The lift is rated for 450 lbs. but you're not lifting the whole 1000 lb. mower, so it was very adequate. I also like the fact that you pull a couple of pins, and the jack breaks down for easy storage! I would recommend this unit to anyone! ... show more
