The MoJack EZ MAX is a 24" collapsible lawn mower jack. It features a unique clutch system for easy lifting and automatic safety with a smooth release handle. It provides the right amount of torque when lifting light or heavy- duty lawn mowers or tractors. It is easy to assemble so you can use and store it anywhere. It's easy and safe for your lawn tractor, garden tractor and it fits most residential tractors and ZTR mowers. The lifting capacity is 450 lbs. lifting the front of the mower, not the total mower weight. Supreme lifting height of 24" high. I use this to lift my Ryobi RM480e mower and it works very well. Easy to lift, easy to lower, stores in very little space. I leave it fully assembled and park my mower right in front of it, so it takes up very little extra space and is always available for use. It uses a screw-type mechanism for raising and lowering, which feels very secure and requires no air pressure or hydraulics or fluids. Just a little light oil on the screw thread. It's got 3 built-in security stop points, at which the lifted weight is resting on the frame, rather than on the screw.. so you *could* leave it in a lifted position for long periods of time if it were necessary to do so, Assembly was very easy and took only a few minutes. The components are quite sturdy and seem to be well made. After assembly, the whole thing seems a little wobbly, but as soon as there's weight on it, it gets quite stable and sturdy. This model has a 450lb capacity, but since you're only lifting the front end of the mower, it would be able to lift quite a large mower. Lifting my little RM480e was child's play for it, It's possible to use a battery or wall-powered drill to turn the lifting.lowering screw, but the hand crank is ore convenient and quite easy to use, All in all, I'm quite satisfied with this product. Well worth the expense to be able to get my mower into the air for cleaning. Although the deck is removable, it's much more difficult than simply turning a crank, ... show more

I am so glad I purchased this mower jack. Before I was trying to scrape the mower deck by driving the front of the mower onto ramps. The clearance to scrape the deck was minimal at best. This jack now lets me easily scrape the mower deck and remove the blades so I can sharpen them. This jack just makes my life a little easier, which I appreciate very much. I recommend this jack if you want to feel safe when having to get under the mower. I saw another version of a different brand that doesn't require turning a screw or using hydraulics. I may have purchased that one if I had known about it, but I am still happy with this jack. (I tend to stay away from hydraulic jacks as I haven't had good luck with them in the past.) ... show more

The MoJack EZ Max is a very simple but durable lift device that allows cleaning and blade changing without removing the mower deck. Assembly was quick and easy- as is the operation of the lift. Once the mower is lifted, one does have to get under the deck (e.g., lay on a mat) to clean the underside and/ or remove nuts on the blades.. That is true for any lift -none of which can place your mower in a perpendicular position : ) The lift's maximum angle achieves something less than 45 degrees but provides ample space to work on the blades and remove compacted grass from the deck. Much easier than removing the deck. So it is an effective device - but it is currently being marketed at too high a price. It is some welded and stamped metal- probably less than 30 USD in materials but is being sold for 400 USD plus. Not a great value. ... show more

Great product. Heavy-duty, thick weldments with reinforcing gussets. Easy bolt-together assembly, Acme screw for lifting and lowering. Everything was just right. Great instructions—clear and clean with good illustrations. One of the best things was the hardware packaging, with perforated slots to punch out the various screws, washers, pins, etc., one part at a time. I assembled it quickly (after finding the three metric sockets among my mixed-up tools) and raised my Husqvarna tractor-mower for its photograph. By the way, I'm an old guy (in my 80th year) and can raise it using the hand crank, but I prefer the electric drill method. Just be sure to remove the crank before using the drill or you'll knock yourself silly. That's also in the instructions. Also, a few quick-release pins let you fold the lift flat for storage. Things to know: Just as the instructions say, don't even think about lifting without the tire bands installed. ... show more

I was worried this wouldn't work on my Greenworks 42" Zero Turn since I couldn't find a single review from anyone who has one. Well, it works just fine. The only negatives: It takes about a half hour to put together. When you are done using it, it takes some work to break it down for storage. The positives: It's very sturdy. It lifts the mower high enough to easily access the underside of the deck. It has several extra safety features. Overall, I would say this is not for someone who needs to lift a mower every day or even every week. but it's great for someone who needs to lift their mower a few times a season. ... show more
