Used day after I received it in the mail. Cast 25 times the first day. Started ripping immediately. Now has huge hole. Very disappointed. Will try to find better quality. Better to spend more money the first time.

This a great net for me to catch some bait fish with, still getting the hang of casting nets in general but I’m happy with the decision to buy this net as my first. This cast net appears to be very well made. It is made up of triangular panels as opposed to being sewn in a circular pattern. From what I've read, this is a much higher quality manufacturing method. It has a soft wrist strap and a long retrieval rope which makes it a little more comfortable to use. It is also very flexible, and I like the fact that it's a 3/8 inch mesh because of the type of bait fish we are trying to catch. It seems to have about 1/2 ounce of weight per foot. I would like it to be a little heavier, but I believe it will still work out well. I'm still learning to cast it, but so far it's working as I expected it to. Once I start catching bait fish with it, I'll come back and do an update. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This is a well put together casting net. The wrist support fits nice a secure. The nylon rope and net are very well made and seem very durable. The weights all looked good as well and should work well when casting and retrieving. It even came with a nice little collapsible bucket which has many possible uses.     • Takes some getting use to
This is a great net that casts well once you get the hang of it. It really takes a bit of practice especially when you're using a bigger casting net. One thing I'll point out is that you should really make sure you know what size net you're allowed to use in your area as some states don't allow you to use larger than a specific size.
