Extremely durable. Very easy to use. Just cut your 2x4s and screw them in. Recommend you use an impact hammer for the screws. It’s much easier.

In the realm of firewood racks this ranks pretty highly. Very strong steel and well painted to keep rust at bay. Pressure treated 2x4 lumber fits well with no trimming necessary. I recommend not going any longer than 10' and 4'10" high for stability. I recommend placing strong [red] bricks, not cement blocks, under the brackets to minimize the ground contact and especially the lumber (because the weight of the wood will bend the 2x4's slightly). Only four stars because I wish it was an additional 2" wider - 13.2" is rather short if you cut 15"-18" logs. ... show more

Although no instructions we're included, it was fairly easy to put together. We purchased two kits, and put them together with two - 2x4x8 wood beams, and four 2x4x4 wood beams, EACH. We bought a half-cord of stove-cut wood, which filled one rack and less than half of the second rack. We looked at other racks and thought this was the best value.
