  • Only for Round Fencing Pipe--- Helper gate wheel could be used on both pipe farm gates, chain link gates or any other gate that has a bottom ROUND pipe measuring 1-5/8 through 2. NOTE: Check your gate frame diameter first.
  • Easy to Install --- Just prop the gate up to the height you need and attach the wheel on the bottom rail of the gate. Tighten U-bolt nuts securely until helper gate wheel couldnt slip around the pipe.

I've bought these for 5 field gates and they work great. Very sturdy construction that does not rust or bend. It gets 4 stars, however, because of the packaging. That box is NOT sturdy enough for the weight of this product. I ordered 2 sets of 2 wheels each. On pair arrived in a destroyed box that someone at Amazon had the presence of mind to slip into one of their heavy plastic pouches to make the journey. The second pair never arrived (the cryptic shipping status updates indicated it probably didn't survive the trip and was returned in transit). Got a refund and reordered. The third pair arrived in a box that was barely intact enough to contain the parts. It made it...just barely. So, don't be too upset if it takes a couple of tries to get what you ordered. I have a 16' gate on a tiny hill. Once the wheel is installed, the gate glides easily and doesn't touch the hill (dirt) when opening and closing.
