  • Awesome to customize a weird size gate!
I actually needed a 5.5 ft tall gate, so this worked perfect. I had to buy two couplers at home depot for 4$ since it's not included here, no big deal. Thanks!!

  • OK Gate
The materials are very light gauge material. The gate works, but not as sturdy as the advertisement leads you to believe. Do not expect the gate to take much of a lateral load.

  • Great gate - very sturdy - fairly easy to assemble and install
Wasn't sure how this was going to turn out because we wanted to use it with wooden posts instead of a chain link fence. After some research and a few youtube videos, we were able to make it work. It took a little bit of time to put it together (I'm not a handyman) but once I did, installation was pretty easy. We didn't end up using the latch because we wanted the gate close on both sides to keep larger animals out of our garden. I definitely recommend it. ... show more

  • Great
They can be put together very quickly and they are strong. I bought it several months ago and they still firm and working perfectly.

  • Nice but
The tension bars and bar clips were flimsy, not very sturdy and in my opinion would not hold up for the long haul. Other reviewers talked to the quality of the fence fabric, but that wasn't a big issue. I ended up going out and buying new tension bars and tension clips so it is a lot sturdier. Additional costs about $35.00, but I think it was well worth the expenditure. ... show more

  • Exactly as advertised
So I bought 4 of these and they are pretty great. They are as sturdy as they look (flimsy chain link) but you probably guessed that from the price. If you are looking to keep your dog in your yard or build a gate then this is perfect. If you need to resize the gates the measurements are in the instruction manual which took all the guess work out of the process. I was expecting to have to break out my geometry to figure out the length of the curve in the vertical pipes but they made it idiot proof. You will need a sawzall or something that can cut metal and you will need a drill that can create pilot holes in metal. They say the screws are self tapping but I am either not strong enough or that is not the case. Save yourself the hassle and drill pilot holes for the screws. Other than that, it is exactly as advertised. After the first one the remaining three gates went together relatively quickly and keep my pup where she is supposed to be. ... show more

  • Gate
Purchased for our backyard, the reason I gave it 4 stars was due to it not bringing the side poles for the gate. It was probably my fault for not reading the whole description the picture showed the poles and hardware so I assumed it came with it. took us most of the day on Sunday for locating the two poles and hardware. We need to replace two gates at my moms and will definitely purchase again. ... show more

  • 72'' isn't accurate / arrives tangled / horrible instructions
First and foremost.. the BIGGEST problem is that this product is not 72'' wide as is claimed. It claims to be 72'' on this page, and also in the instruction booklet. However, it measures 67'' wide after it is put together. The instruction booklet claims that the gate width should be 4'' shorter than the gate opening - and therefore what I think they meant to say is that this fence is built for a 72'' wide opening and is not the literal gate width, which makes sense, because if it was literally 72'' it wouldn't function as a gate with a 72'' opening. However, it isn't 4'' smaller than a 72'' opening, it is FIVE inches smaller. I bought two of these for my exactly 12 foot gate opening and there is such a wide gap in the middle that the latch does not attach to the other one. There is the standard 1-2 inch gap on the sides, but in the middle there is a 6-8 inch gap, when it should be at least 2 inches less. NOTE: if you decide to buy this product anyways and think to yourself that you can just buy longer extender bars than this kit comes with , think again! Their extender bars are not perfectly round, but have a dip in the bottom of it - it seems to be custom-made and not pre-fabrication. Good luck finding a good fit. Second problem: the instructions that this comes with do not explain that drilling is needed. They do indeed say that you need a drill in the beginning, but it does not tell you when, where and how. In fact, the ‘how’ part is lost in a lot of the instructions, like how to use the turn bar to square the fence. Good luck figuring out how to mostly build this on your own. I recommend youtube if you're not a handyman. The instructions also lie that you only need 30 minutes to assemble.. on my second round of building it and knowing what I was doing, I still needed well over an hour. Third problem: the chain link will probably arrive tangled and you'll spend a decent amount of time untangling it. It's annoying to work with. (My last two photos were taken AFTER I had spent a decent amount of time untangling them, btw). I know the manufacturer could have done something to prevent this, because I have seen chain link properly packaged before. ... show more
