I am using this to push the remote button for my garage door at our apartment since I was not allowed to have 2 buttons (one for my car and one for my wifes). I had bought a simple rf relay and button on Amazon and that was working fine until my complex upgraded and the new garage no longer would work with my rf relay so I needed a new method of having multiple opener buttons. I was hesitant about this fingerbot but it was the only one advertised to work with the smart life app (I already have multiple devices using this app) not to mention the motion of the "finger" looked like it would work the best for what I needed. Once they arrived and when I turned this on and went to add it to my app it was immediately recognized and working, which was very impressive. The next day the gateway arrived and it was just as easy to setup and pair with the fingerbot and it gave me access to the fingerbot from a distance and through my Alexa devices. So over all I'm very happy because I have in my own mad scientist way I have smart/Alexa control of my garage which is perfect!! There are a few things I would liked have seen different about these devices is the removal of the replaceable battery (or at least a rechargeable li-ion in it's place), a USB port for charging if it had a li-ion battery or to use without a battery, wifi built into the device would have been very welcomed as the need for a gateway to use with Alexa or remote access is a touch ridiculous but I can understand why it's not included as it is currently built as it would have been heavy on a replaceable battery... Hence why it needs a version that uses USB for power... But for now this was the best device for me and I am very happy with it but I definitely see myself buying a 3v power supply and soldering it to soldering it to the battery terminals so I never have to worry about batteries. ... show more

Works great within minutes... only thing to know is, the downloadable Instruction Manual doesn't mention you first have to pull off the back cover to remove the little plastic "slip" on the battery to activate power. Once that is done and you've downloaded the Moes app, things are very straightforward after that. Also purchase the Moes Wireless Smart Gateway device if you want to be able to use the Button Pusher from anywhere in the world (the Button Pusher only works on local Bluetooth until you add the Wireless Smart Gateway device, which interfaces with the Button Pusher via Bluetooth, then connects to your local WiFi). Using this setup to remotely push the power button on a desktop PC that has to stay on for our business, in the event of a temporary power failure after the UPS loses power. Very impressed with how easy it is to set up (remove the plastic slip from the battery inside!). ... show more

If you’re like me and have spent thousands of dollars on a Jura coffee machine to learn it doesn’t have a feature to turn itself on each morning you know the pain. Each morning those 2 minutes waiting for the coffee machine to wake up were the longest in my life. I tried 2-3 Other brands including switch bot. Even with modifications to the pusher I couldn’t get them to work. This one however works well. All I needed was to put a small adhesive pad on the end of the arm- the same little adhesive dots they put inside kitchen cabinet drawers to stop them from slamming (just search for silicone adhesive cabinet stops). The only thing I don’t like about it is the manual button on the device doesn’t always work reliably. ... show more
