We ordered this online and I was quite uncertain what this item would look in our room. I am pleasantly surprised how well built this TV stand is and our TV looks great on it. The box was preassembled and we placed the legs on. Doors need a little bit of alignment but that's easy. It does weight quite heavy witch I like because I wanted it to withstand up to 150lbs and this TV stand can easily do that. It has a lot of storage space which I love. Value for money is fair. I spent months researching, and finally opted for this model. I wanted mid century look, walnut, with doors, for a reasonable price. I did not want to pay less and spend hours to put it together myself. This arrived in a HUGE box, packed with amazing care. The hardest part was just getting it out of the box! We are elderly, but managed to slide it out and turn it to the side so I could attach the legs. Very easy! We are very pleased. The self close doors are nice. I used black baskets on the shelves inside the grill part so my ‘clutter’ is not seen. The height of legs makes it easy to vacuum under. The wood grain is very nice and matches my walnut coffee table. It is a sturdy piece, and will last for many years. We have a 55” TV but this will accommodate at least 75” or 80” if we want to go that big… I was able to put my electronics inside one cabinet - worked perfectly and minimize cord clutter. The unit arrived on schedule and in great shape. It was fully assembled except for the legs that needed to be attached. The instructions were easy to follow and the tools needed to tighten the legs were included. My only disappointment was with the depth of the unit. My intent was to place my home theater amplifier (Onkyo TX-RZ720) in the center compartment, knowing that the doors allowed the remote control IR signals to pass through. However, when I placed the amplifier on the shelf, I realized that the compartment door could not fully close because it hit the front of the amplifier. And this was with no speaker wires attach yet. My only choices was to either cut out the back of the unit to allow the amplifier to sit back further, or to remove the amplifier from the center compartment and place it atop the unit. I chose the latter, which is a bit unsightly, but it doesn't cause an irreversible alteration. The amplifier is about the same size as my center channel speaker. The two next to each other atop this entertainment center is starting to grow on me. ... show more

    • Would be a really nice tv stand if the legs weren’t bent and were threaded

The tv stand is nice and sturdy, however one of the legs didn’t come with the screw holes threaded and it was bent. We have contacted the Povison company and are having a hard time fixing the problem. Not sure what to do.

EASIEST purchase of my life. I feel the price is steep, but the quality is unparalleled in the purchase of any other tv stands that I’ve gotten over the years (FYI I’ve built or assisted building at least 30 in 20 years). I needed one that my new 86” could go on and few size this high. Literally took less than five minutes to construct and easily the most solid piece I’ve ever seen. Looks exactly, like the picture and Amazon had it for the lowest price I could find for it. The price is the only deterrent. I can afford it and wish it were lower so more could afford it too.
