I used this decades ago when I rubber stamped. I didn't like ink all over the wood, so I Modge Podged the wood to keep the stamps looking new. Now, I need it to seal work I'm doing on wooden dolls. It is the same perfect sealer that it was years ago. Last night, I found a pretty jewelry box that was too pretty to recycle. I decorated the box (cardboard) with stickers, paint, and ink. Here’s your review with a polished and engaging flow: I’ve used this Mod Podge for a variety of crafts with great results. It works well for decorating glass jars with pressed flowers and tissue paper, as well as attaching photos to wooden planks. The clear coating dries completely transparent, which I love. When using it on wood, I did notice some visible streaks from the brush strokes, though that may have been due to the brush I used. A higher-quality paintbrush would likely eliminate this issue. That said, once applied, this stuff is incredibly durable—no peeling, no flaking, just a strong, lasting bond. Mod Podge has been around for decades for a reason—it’s a crafting staple! My grandma used it in the '50s, my mom after her, then me, and now even my teen daughter. The only downside is that it does dry out if left unused for too long (mine sat for about five years), but that's to be expected. (Keep in mind you can’t see the most of what happened in the photo because a lot of it was underneath the items inside the box) I love this mod-podge! It’s great for crafting by and a great sealant! But I’ve never ordered it off Amazon before. I ordered it and it came COMPLETELY exploded everywhere. It luckily didn’t completely ruin the other items in the box and I was sent a new one. There is tagt possibility with all liquids off Amazon but it was disappointing. It was also weird because the seal seemed to be broke intentionally but that is probably me being paranoid and not this items company’s fault. I use it a lot and it is great for dinomasks which is good considering they are plastic. It does dry clear so don’t be alarmed when it goes on white. Overall it’s a great item yet I recommend trying to find it in person! ... show more
