I went through my mother-in-law's craft stache I inherited and she must have had 6 different bottles of Mod Podge - all but one half empty and now rather hard. I needed just the original Mod Podge for my project. I know they say white glue mixed with a bit of water works just as well - but it's just not the same. I use mod podge to seal my acrylic artwork, as a glue and as a paint medium. Dries quickly, clear and shiny. As a glue it is a tight adhesive. Give it a high rate for functionality because it is so versatile.

The media could not be loaded. This is my go-to glue and sealant for pretty much all my projects. I prefer the satin finish compared to the gloss or matte finishes. Matte gives a dull finish useful for some limited projects, while gloss often gives too much shine. Satin is right in the sweet spot! I keep a jar watered down 50/50 for dipping items like a glaze. I also have another jar 75-25 water with a sponge roller to use as a paper glue for my greeting cards. It also does a great job of sealing my 3-d projects including models, repaint jobs, painted rocks and recycled glass jars. A super hardy material and very versatile. If you have bubbles during the drying process, you might end up with small rings on the finished product. To avoid bubbles, I apply with a sponge and hit it with a hair dryer to pop bubbles. The grandkids & I had fun using Mod Podge to create tealight candleholders. You're not seeing the tealights, because I haven't ordered them yet. I plan to do similar crafts with other friends. Good results; easy to use; not smelly; easy cleanup.
