Decoupaged this lovely dresser to go in the dogs' room. This was my first try at a project like this so before purchasing I read up on the different types of Mod Podge and decided to go with this for my furniture project. It's much thicker than the regular mod podge, but still goes on smooth and clear. The one 16oz jar wasn't enough to do the whole dresser in more than one light coat. I ended up purchasing a 32 oz jar of the regular stuff to give everything a couple more coats for the same price as this specialty version. It turned out beautiful but going on two weeks later and it still feels a bit tacky on the top and around the drawers. So much so that the top drawer actually got stuck to the top of the dresser. I was able to pry it open with minimal damage but its going to have to be remedied in order to make the drawer functional and I don't know how to get rid of this tacky feel. My first decoupage project turned out great and I would use this mod podge again but on a smaller project for the price. ... show more

I bought this to use on sand dollars I’d found on the beach, I want to make them into ornaments. About 5 coats each side, and they are smooth and protected from breaking. Great stuff!

Modgepodge is a go to product for me. I love the clean finish I get on paper projects, balsa wood, and canvas. I love that is is easy to apply and dries clear every time. I am trying the "hard finish" for the first time on several wooden miniatures and some clayart polymer miniature creatures, I wanted a durable non-chip surface finish that was tough. This applies as expected, and so far I can see with 2 coats it is still clear and dries reasonably fast. Time will tell, but I think this may be my new favorite if it lasts as described.
