The paddle does a great job of putting the pizza in and out of the oven. The slicer wasn't the reason I bought this package but it has been a pleasant surprise. The long arc slicer is better than the traditional knife-wheel pizza cutters. I especially like how the cutter is sharp enough to cut pizza but not so sharp that you have to worry about the surface beneath the pizza. It is also easy to clean.
