At first I was skeptical about this gadget as most of Chinese products are garbage. But this thing is actually working very well on my 2023 Dodge Challenger Scat Pack system. I don’t use Apple CarPlay, instead I connect this box to my phone’s hot spot internet connection and use the android system. I use Google maps, view Netflix, YouTube videos, and YouTube music. It works very well, as long as the internet connection is good, no issues at all. However, it did not work on my Ram’s truck which has an aftermarket Sony XAV-AX8000 system, tje CarPlay feature does not recognize it. ... show more

With this price and judging from all the photos I was expecting a set with a box as well as a nice size LED screen. Sadly I was wrong. This is just a box which I can connect to any car with a touch screen display built from 2017 onward. So that makes the box useless, since any car with a touch screen display from 2017 onward already can display Apple Car Play and Android Auto. You don't need this box for that. And in any older car without that touch screen display you cannot use this, so it is absolutely useless! ... show more

I was very skeptical of this device. I expected it to be just another wireless android auto/ carplay dongle. It's not. It's basically a stand alone phone/ android device that you can put a sim card in. I have an off brand touchscreen in my vehicle that is supposed to be wireless android auto capable, but it would constantly loose connection with my phone. I was about to go though the hassle of replacing it when I saw this. I prefer a regular android head unit to an android auto head unit after trying bot out now and this dongle give you the option of both. You can load up all your favorite apps on the dongle from the play store and use it through your wired carplay/android auto head unit. It works just like a tablet but displays and controls through your existing touch screen head unit. It is also capable of split scree. Which I love. I can use waze on part of the screen and torque or something else at the same time. It's just like having an Android head unit that you can plug up in any car I would think that has wired carplay/android auto. For people with factory touchscreens that just want some of there regular phone apps on them, I'm pretty sure this will work. I am extremely impressed with how fast it is as well. Considering it has to take control of the headunit through wired car play and then boot up, the 30 seconds or so that it takes is pretty fast. I have experienced no glitches so far and am very happy with this dongle. So to recap, it turns your cars carplay/android auto radio into basically an android phone with the option to add any apps that you want without connecting you phone to it with Bluetooth. You just need a wifi connection to download the apps and your all set. It's pricey, but I have not seen another device with this level of functionality. Woah! I didn't know these even existed. I was window shopping on here and came across this car play and was intrigued. I am so happy I got it! I travel a lot and I have ADHD, so having this carplay where I can listen to my shows when I am driving or play apps when I am in the school pickup line. It turns your gps into a tablet basically! I needed a unified platform to play both android auto and apple carplay. My wife uses samsung, so she is used to auto. The good part of this product is you can use it as a TV-box as well. It can install TV card and also you can add your own SD card. You can play music, movie on your own choice. The bad part, you don't get any display with it. My car is 2013 model and don't come with default screen. I had my stereo so I am using that display to use this magic box. Other than this, the quality of this product is top notch. It's a little bit pricy in my opinion but when it comes to user application, this product has much more variety of range. It easily fits in any car, the design quality is also praiseworthy.
