    • Excellent portable system
I bought this product to play retro games on-the-go in a handheld form-factor, and this product blew me away! The product is made out of aluminum and is a bit hefty, which ends up with a very premium-feeling experience. Buttons are well-made, clearly-labelled, and just the right amount of clicky. The two USB-C ports are great additions, though I'm sad that the OTG port does not support display output. The product comes with a clunky-looking linux OS preloaded with tons of games and emulators, all already loaded onto one of the two included micro-SD cards. You can modify any part of the software to fit your needs, and load up any emulators or games you might have your eye on very easily- just by dragging and dropping to the SD card. Games run excellently with no stutters, and the sound/picture quality is very clear. You're not going to be running PS3 games on this thing, so the limited resolution is perfect for what it is. Battery lasts a long while, and can be quickly charged with the USB-C port. All in all, I highly recommend this product, especially over its more premium counterparts like the RG-350M. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. As far as how this device feels, the build quality is amazing. Feels like a solid little device. But, unfortunately since I’ve gotten my unit, it hasn’t been able to start up. I’ll power it on and then I’ll be stuck on a black screen. This has been an issue for some online but I haven’t found any real fixes for the issue. I’m a little upset I paid for the overnight shipping just to have a dud unit. Took off 1 star because this did not come preloaded with games as mentioned. I had to wait a few days for a SD card to get here. I would have just ordered the SD card from the start, but the description led me to believe it would have an SD card already loaded with 2500+ games, which was not the case.     • Read Before You Buy!
I am heavy into retro-gaming and there are some things buyers need to consider before buying these units. 1) The OS preloaded on the units is bare-bones and needs updating. You will need computer knowledge and resources about how to get updated emulator software or a better OS altogether. There are several out there and research should be done. 2) The games that are preloaded onto the card(s) inserted in the unit are mostly hacked games or clones of the originals and CAN contain malware. If you are a serious retro-gamer, and want the real deal, make sure you physically own the cartridges of the gaming systems so you can obtain the ROMs LEGALLY. Load those onto the card to have a better experience as well. 2) The MicroSD cards that come with these units are cheap and are prone to failure. They should be replaced with good SanDisk card(s) or Samung card(s) - these are very inexpensive. 3) Do not use the charging cable that comes with the unit. Use a good charging cable from a reputable company such as Anker, or Belkin. All in all for the extra $30 for the cards and cable, and a little tedious work updating the unit - this little unit will play numerous consoles, and all of your ROMs! Unless you plan on doing the extra work needed for these units, you will not get a top-of-the-line experience. If you do - you will be humming along playing your favorites for a LONG time! ... show more
