No experience with tankless, this is the first one I’ve installed, stat being said I’ve put in dozens of hot water tanks. Easy install. Fairly priced product. All of the connections are 3/4 inch. Will update review if anything changes. Would recommend a descaling filter with any tankless unit, or yearly flushes. They do require more maintenance than a hot water tank. ... show more

The part that took the longest was hauling my old 40gal propane hot water heater out. Being a typical guy, i carefully took the instructions - and laid them to the side. Look, I screwed the thing into the wall, threaded my input and output and hooked up my propane line, soapy water to check for leaks, plugged the damn thing into the wall and it just works. Run your hot water from a faucet before plugging the unit in, to get rid of any air in the heater exchanger, plug it in and it fired right up, there was no fiddling, fidgeting, fighting, or mucking about, the damn thing started making hot water. Now what the hell am I supposed to do with the rest of my day? I have been robbed of the struggle that brings me satisfaction. Ok, ok, so I'm a fan, so why 4 and not 5 stars? This thing puts out some heat, which could be better utilized by a second heat exchanger, but that would add considerably to the cost. And at this price point, I'm very happy with what I got. It's been 20 to 30 degrees F the last few weeks, cold ground water, and this thing gets plenty hot for a shower and kitchen. Like Burn. The. Crap. Out. Of. You. I was looking for an alternative to the 40 gallons tank gas water heater, which It does not make sense for one person. I found this tank-less gas water heater and perhaps one of the cheapest. We took as risk on using this but wow it’s amazing. The output water is hotter than our old unit it replaced and our gas bill is lower. Super awesome hot water heater. Recommend. It’s worked great for us.

Amazon takes no responsibility and wants you to deal with the company. Says they will refund your money but due to a mistake by April that became a moot point. Speaking to the company Fogatti, Inc. especially their manager Harold was hung up on and all I wanted was a functioning water heater. Their company policy states they need the water heater back first before replacement sent. Jaw with the level of despicability of this company. Please do yourself a favor and save money by not dealing with them in the first place and Amazon please drop this company from your list of vendors. ... show more
