Let me start by saying I am an untrained novice. Just a mom who thought it would be fun to learn to do my daughter and my nails during quarantine. First I tried dips. They worked well on my because I have long nails already so they would last 1-2 weeks easy. However not so much for my daughter who bites her nails. We had this problem in the salon and at home with her dips popping off sometimes next day. This polygel kit is easy to use and absolutely looks fresher longer. Prep your nail as instructed and it takes some practice to figure out how much gel to use and how thick or thin you like it. I also read a tip online to use a nail form one size larger than your actual nail to improve coverage. The lightest purple in the pics is left over dip, but the other colors are from this kit. I would estimate that you can do about three sets for an average adult with the nail length pictured per tube. So you could get 24 sets out of this kit... pretty dang good for the cost considering polygel manis go for $55-$150 plus tip. I bought the special uv gloves for my daughter and I so as to not age our hands under the uv light. Patience is definitely a virtue in the learning process. Just apply this product using the plastic shapers. Made it easier than using forms in the back of the nail tips. The gel set in 30 seconds under my light which was so fast and convenient. Only took an hour to do one hand. I usually take FOREVER lol. Squeeze tube a bit the mix the glitter around first. As u can see my ring finger was light on the glitter be all nails are the same thickness. I’ll update about the the soak off. That will be the biggest difference for me. I hate the file off poly gel. So I hope it works out. The plastic shapers are the perfect shape and size LOVE IT!! Not the mention, super fast shipping. Very pleased ... show more

My first impression of this kit was the presentation and the overall variety within the set! There are a wide range of colors to choose from which is ideal for anyone starting out with gel polishes. Furthermore, each bottle contains 8ml which is plenty for the average person doing their nails at home! I used to work at a nail salon and these are very similar to the ones we use in the salon. I highly recommend this set and would likely order another set from this company! P.s.     • Ugly colors, will not cure, save your money

I only ordered this kit because it was Supposed to be delivered the same day with an order over 35 dollars. I work a lot, and I had the next day off to do my nails. It arrived two days later. The colors look nothing like I thought they would. The colors are not vibrant except for the fusfia. They all appear muddled. The yellow is a darker yellow not a spring yellow. The lilac purple is also dark. In addition to an unpleasant color palette, they will not cure. I use nail forms. I initially tried doing it normally with the color inside the whole form so the whole nail is the whole color. It would not cure at the nail bed. Even repeatedly putting my nail under the light did not cure it. I decided to put a thin layer of color on the base of the form, then cure for ten seconds then put on the normal amount of clear to build the nail. What a pain! On the sides you can see the clear of you are not super careful which on my non dominant hand is difficult. Overall, I'm very disappointed. It was a total waste of money. The only good color is fusfia. It's a very hot pink, but unless it's a really thin layer it will not cure. ... show more

I wanted to start experimenting with poly gel nails because too many peel-off gel coats had delaminated my nails, making them pretty weak. I bought these to learn with. For a very cheap product, they are OK, but the glitter is not evenly mixed into the clear base colors, so you end up with basically clear nails with random clumps of glitter. The non-clear bases seem better mixed. Make sure you have good slip liquid because it is sticky (as it should be) and it sets really well and isn't too hard to clean up. ... show more

I haven't used this yet..... However though I have used Mizhse gel before it works really well the only thing is you have to leave it in the light just a little longer because it is so thick so you need to spread it thinner so it dries better.... Great thing about that is that it will not crack or break and you can leave it on up to a month as long as it's thinner by the cuticle..... So far hands down this is the best gel that can and will last because it has a little bit of a rubbery consistency to it but it does dry hard..... So it keeps you from having to do your nails so often..... I will continue to use this shell because it holds up and works so well. Plus the colors are beautiful and bold just like they are in the two and you can mix them and make them look different..... hopefully I can do my Halloween nails and come back and leave a photo ... show more
