I use MIZANI Press Agent Thermal Smoothing Sulfate-Free Shampoo alongside of their conditioner. In my personal opinion, the combination works well. Both smell nice, and you do not need a lot to wash and condition your hair. My hair is clean and smooth after using it. Personally, I like it.

I was introduced to Mizani products by my hairdresser and loved the way they left my hair. Order this item and it leaves your hair smelling musty(7) not clean and fresh. However, it does help you style wonderfully so it's a toss up. I have curly hair and it leaves my curls bouncy and smooth, so I take care of the smell issue by spraying a touch of coconut oil after styling. ... show more

Honestly. This product worked no better than anything else I’ve been using. It did not “hold” my hair up better than your typical hair product. I used this as a shampoo & conditioner combo.

The only thing keeping me from giving a 5th star is that I have had better experiences with a few other shampoos--where I didn't even need a condition to follow up--such as Kerastase and Kevin Murphy brands. That being said, this does an ok job for being $15-20 less per bottle. (I only tried the shampoo, so if I had the accompanying conditioner to use with the shampoo then my results might have been more impressive and I'd feel more confident about a 5th star.) Has a good scent to it. It's a thick shampoo to the point where I actually had to take the cap off the bottle to get some out. (My bathroom was on the chilly side, but still.) So, you don't need much to apply, or, at least I wouldn't want to apply more than a quarter-size amount based on how thick it is. Seems to lather well. My hair was shiny after I blew it straight and used my flat iron. The leave in conditioner that I usually use may have a role in that, but I think that the shampoo does have some benefit. My hair is naturally very curly and is becoming coarser in texture as it is going grey, so I often blow dry it straight and finish with a flat iron to help smooth it out.
