This over the door shoe holder is perfect for my needs. I bought two, one for shoes and one for small items that I don't use frequently. What I like best is the pockets are roomy enough for my women's size 9 Kiziks and, really important, the pockets are mesh and allow air to circulate. I usually wipe my outdoor shoes down with antibacterial wipes before putting them away, so accumulating dirt in the pocket is not a problem. I am using the second one to store hats, rolled hair towels, shoehorns, measuring tape… all of those items that otherwise take up room or get stored in boxes where you can never find them. The hooks are thin but sturdy, and wide enough for my interior doors. Somehow, it manages to stay flat and not bounce when I open the doors. This is a great shoe holder if you don't have much closet space. Fits nicely over the door and sits somewhat flat (until you fill it up with shoes.) Even then it sits nicely on a door that is against a wall. I have mine on a door that's against a wall and filled it sits about 6-7 inches out from the wall. This over the door shoe organizer is GREAT!!!! My other one was tossed out by mistake so I had to get a new one to replace it. Very easy to install and hang. The material is strong and sturdy. The mesh pockets accommodate a lot of shoes (especially if they fit one pair in one pocket). Will not accommodate boots, high top sneakers or large running shoes. Totally my fault for not looking at the dimensions of my door before ordering, it’s just a bit wide and now it won’t shut all the way. No big deal. The pockets are nice and big and the material is mesh which allows you to see the shoes nicely. Overall pretty good for the price!
