It's a good price for a lot of potting soil, but so far all the plants I've repotted have developed white mold on the surface of the soil. Seems to hold water well, which might be part of problem. I like that it contains plant food which should last for six months.

I used traditional miracle grow for a long time and kept having problems with root rot. I tried some other potting soils and started adding perlite and mulch to all my mixes. Recently I saw this with moisture control so I thought I’d give it a try. I have had plants in it for a couple of months now and they are doing well. I like the feel of the soil and it’s not too heavy. It drains well but doesn’t dry out too quickly. It is a bit more expensive than some other potting soil but so far, I think it might be worth it.
