The media could not be loaded. As you can see, it's PG 1080p h264 AAC 5.1 2.4 0. 0. It plays an HD Adobe vision as mentioned and reviews on YouTube saying it won't play anything except 2.0. as you see from the video it is playing 5.1 through my 7.14 Samsung playing beautiful, no hiccups.

The U8K Ultra is smooth and very responsive. They picture quality on this thing will knock your socks off. And love the fact it comes with a HDMI 2.1b cable to fully enjoy the features it have. Everything you want in a box, this is it.

    • This is an Android OS box that has some TV type features, not an Android TV box.
This product runs Android OS, not Android TV. So be aware of that. It can do more, basically its like a phone but you connect it to your TV. So if you like tweaking your Android phone to run all sorts of stuff then this device can do that. It cannot however play 4k HDR Netflix. Or even 1080p Netflix without downloading a hacked Netflix app file and loading it yourself (hopefully that no one installed malware into). Same goes for things like Youtube or Prime Video. The developer does not want to add support for these, as this device is not intended to be a "regular Android TV box like dozens of other products already out there". So if you are looking for a TV box to stream shows on, this is NOT it. This can do other stuff, but its target market is not to be used as an Android TV device like most people are looking for. ... show more

It served my purpose to connect a usb external hard drive and output the videos at 8k to my 8k tv… However, it’s remote control is the worse remote control I have ever had to use…and I currently have over 15 remote controls I’m using in my theater room… If you’re trying to just do 4K, then there are many other options which are a lot easier to use…but if you’re trying to output 8k, then this does the trick… ... show more

I bought it hoping to have a similar experience to my qn90b 85" in terms of image quality and I am very disappointed that the plex movies look plain and without quality , returning tomorrow

This box is super easy to set up and very fast . I wish some of the preinstalled apps could be removed but they can be disabled . Installed Kodi , Tvimate , Smartube , Plex and Implayer . Picture quality on my Dolby Vision device is incredible . You cant go wrong with a Minix device.
