So I was a little apprehensive to by this(an 8core PC on intel's 7 processor tech and ddr5 memory as well as M.2 SSD. I wasn't expecting stat of the art even though some reviews from their other machines show full m.2x4 speeds and great gaming at less than the cost of the processor I was simply expecting a raspberry pi in a shiny box That's about what I got but with some time and updating firmware, bios settings to overpower (8w)the processor and set the fan to start running on hi at 55*C enabling some features and drivers I was finally able to get 900mbps from my m.2 drive, the RAM is not 4800Mhz and not 8gbs (This is my only gripe with this machine, I would like to have faster M.2 throughput and better cooling(The fan has NO intake so it overheats often I solved by removing the bottom plastic piece and with the speeds set to max non turbo instead of turbo it passmarks at well over 10000 CPU setting it in the "High end" CPU class I'm still waiting on support about the RAM, seems they knew about the speed issue as it's listed other places at 4000Mhz but still a great machine if you're creating a media station or emulator as usb-c gives excellent video quality over hdmi. I will update the stars to reflect my experience with support. Also setting it upside down with the bottom piece removed for airflow solves a Faraday issue and besides looking cool it allows for faster wifi speeds ... show more

I absolutely love my new computer .... I do a lot of photo/video editing ... this baby does the same tasks as my old system, but literally 4-5 times faster ... so far I'm extremely pleased with the quality & performance ... the small size also makes it an easy travel partner

I bought this primarily as a basic gaming system. I play some steam and battle net games on this and they run great! It boots quickly, the graphics are pretty decent and it runs everything smoothly. I would highly recommend this item.

Unfortunately, after purchasing three of these in a row, I still do not have a fully functional mini pc. They all crash frequently, with varying levels of severity between the three separate machines. Videos would frequently crash, fail to load, cause the screens to blackout, etc. One had serious encoding issues in particular, there was fragmentation and jittering. One would crash while playing a video, and instead of a quick freeze, the entire computer would turn non-responsive and need to be restarted. The one that froze and fully crashed was also noticeably slower at every task, laggy and slow to respond in general. ... show more

This unit performs nicely, as advertised. Mine was down level with it's drivers. Couldn't get help on how to get current. Couldn't get help on how to see what drivers I had. Had to google around to find out how to get it updated. So, I'm happy with the unit now that nice people have posted how they got theirs updated. ... show more

This is the second time I bought this computer. The first time, the fan was extremely noisy. I contacted Minisforum in Hong Kong via email and they were quite responsive. I was concerned about warranty if I tried to fix it. After several emails, they said they don't have repair facilities in the states but they would send me a new fan to install myself and they would extend the full warranty for 2 years. So all would have been good but it took about a week for the several emails back and forth and I had already sent it back to Amazon. After two or three more weeks, while the unit was apparently returned to Hong Kong, I re-ordered it and this one is nice and quiet. It has a fast CPU and SSD, which is what I was after and I benchmarked it at 71 percentile compared to all the computers in the world. Not great, but pretty good for the price, I think. ... show more
