  • Rare find
Size: EM780-32GB/1TB
I have a steamdeck already, but it is still a bit bulky when travel, especially with newborn. I had an xreal air 2 pro using with steamdeck and that was how I found this one. Performance: perfect for the size and price. Cant be compared with true pc performance, but you can play decent games on this. Speed: better than I expected. Steamdeck with windows doesnt function as good. The mini beast is surprisingly quiet with great cooling. The minipc comes with Windows 11. It is such ease of setup that it took 30 minutes to complete everything including updates. ... show more

  • Absolutely love it!
Size: EM780-32GB/1TB
This is the mini PC i have always dreamed someone would build. I have had it two or three months now and couldn't be happier. As a bonus, my usb tethering from my phone got noticeably faster over my old Win 7 pc. Getting 15Mbps average on a single bar on my iphone. My old PC struggled to get 2Mbps. Im easily streaming movies i never could before. That upgrade alone was worth the price. ... show more

  • Great gaming capable mini-pc
Size: EM780-32GB/1TB
This little powerhouse did not disappoint. I can play well most online games like Overwatch2, Paladins, League of Legends, and more. I got this due to it's USB-C power capability as I want to take it between my office and home and not need a specialized power supply. I plan to use it with a USB-C hub attached to a HDMI monitor for single connection setup. It did start having some heat issues after sleeping, but I fixed this by activating hibernate mode and this helps keep it well regulated when not being used overnight or for long periods in the day. I have been a Mac guy for quite a while but wanted a gaming and media pc that I could use for a side gig doing some documentation and online meetings as well. This serves all these purposes very well. Even AAA game titles are playable on this tiny machine, Not sure Cyberpunk would be best played here but it'd probably be passable. ... show more

  • Packs a punch in a small package
Size: EM780-32GB/1TB
Received the EM780 and plugged it in, installed steam, and started downloading games from my library. I'd read the reviews and I understand this is not a massive gaming powerhouse, but it seems to be able to play most of my AAA library pretty well, and only on a few games did I have to drop down from 4K to 1440p resolution. Generally I left the graphics settings at their default (most were set to normal). One feature that seems to work quite well in Baldur's Gate 3 is the FSR2 upscaler which brings the framerate up to around 30fps or higher. This helps in many other games. For most you'll have to just check the framerate and adjust as needed to get 60fps. I've been using this little hockey puck to move my computer upstairs between the big 87 inch TV in the living room to downstairs where I play PC games with a mouse. I can just unplug it and move it anywhere in the house, and it's not big flat and unwieldly like a laptop (which I already have and use for other things like programming or surfing the web, watching you tube). I intend to load some classic retro games as well and use it for more than just AAA steam gaming. Basically a little tiny console that plays just about anything. I also intend to just use it to do some home software development in my spare time, which it should be more than capable of. All in all so far pretty happy with this little thing. Honestly it's about $200 too expensive for the value perhaps, but with the ability to play more of my library at this size and with this kind of ridiculous portability, maybe it's actually reasonable after all. <NOTE: This is a review of the NEW EM780 and not the older EM680> ... show more
