The projector is great for playing movies indoors. We don't have space for a large TV in our apartment so this is a great solution, and we can easily set up the projector in different places around the house as needed. It comes with an HDMI cord so all you might need is an HDMI adaptor if your laptop doesn't have HDMI built in. I happen to have a selfie stick tripod so I can project a bit higher up; the tripod screw on the bottom of the projector is super handy. I can see myself bringing this with me when traveling, since it's small and light. Last but not least, it is pretty, which is kind of rare for a projector I would say, so happy about that. I ordered this projector and got it only two days later which was great seeing as i was already excited about it arriving. It came very well packaged, as seen and contained all the things pictured. Set up was easy, only problem was that the package did not include a hdmi cord that was compatible with my phone (iphone 7+), which i knew because it was stated in the product description. I went out to 3 walmarts and a best buy looking for a lightning to hdmi cord but ultimately decided to just purchase a fire stick since i had no luck finding the cord. The fire stick works great so far. Another problem i ran into was that the sound didnt work at first but seeing other replies helped me figure out that i needed to change the sound setting to pcm for it to work. The quality is very good and the picture can be adjusted to the size you want. The sound is also pretty good for the price, which im not complaining about. Hope this helps ! ... show more

Got this to for my roommate and I to watch TV in our dorm and it worked fantastic! We just pointed it toward the wall and the picture was great. The only issue we had was that the sound wasn't as loud as we liked it to be but it had a place to hook a speaker up. This is a waste of money for me because I had to buy two more attachments just for it to work with my phone. I will be returning this as soon as I can. It could not connect to my phone because I needed a mirroring cord or something to be able to actually get it to work. It is very light weight and portable as long as you have a power source it will work. I also couldn’t get it to connect to my computer because most computers no longer have the hdmi connector. ... show more

Pros- It’s portable, cheap, and lightweight. You can connect to airpods, or speaker. Cons- Had to by an additional attachment for my ipad. There is no stand to put it on like other ones i’ve seen. Not very loud. Overall you get what you paid for.

I made sure I read the reviews before purchase and I can say I’m glad I purchased it dispute the negative reviews....it had me wondering if they were paid negative reviews because all the things they were complaining about I didn’t have a problem with maybe I just got lucky then. The number one thing I saw in the reviews were issues connecting to the phone...I didn’t encounter this issue because I figure if your trying to play YouTube , Netflix or any streaming services off your phone your better of with a usb streaming stick like fire stick, roku etc. so you don’t have to buy or use a WiFi adapter because they already have them inside the stick. That’s what I got it for not cellphone or tablet use. I found this out because I bought a WiFi adapter trying to use if for the fire stick like the description said come to find out I didn’t need it just the fire stick no USB adapter need. Secondly so far as clarity issues I think those who were having clarity issues didn’t adjust the focus on the side...because I sure had this issue when I turned it on trying to adjust it in the settings the remembered there was a focus toggle on the side and came out crystal clear after I adjusted it. So idk what the other folks were talking about because I works for my needs. Especially for 50 and it makes great for traveling and having movie nights in the park. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I got this three years ago and I still use it! I hooked up a chromcast to it so I can stream stuff from my phone and I can also hook up game systems like the Wii. I really enjoy it and it’s like my own personal movie theater. I also hooked it up to speakers cause the speakers on it are too low. I wish it was a little bit brighter too but it’s not too bad. Wasn't as easy to use as described. Instruction pamphlet was useless. Screen instructions are too small/blurry to read no matter what size you make it & try to focus it. When you want to watch a movie the prompt screen and remote are worthless. Bought a separate cord to connect my phone but Netflix & other apps won't run as it's already "running on another device" ; Apparently my phone? The brightness is fine. Definitely not HD quality but I didn't mind that if I could have at least been able to watch something. It will project your photos, but if you're using it for art tracing remember that your hand shadows out the pic. Had to return. Still on the hunt. ... show more
