Purchase & Packaging: I ordered this Mini PC based on the specs, price point and looks. For the money it was great value. The order arrived sooner than I expected which is always a bonus. The computer and the accessories were nicely packaged and it came with everything you need including an HDMI cable and mounting hardware if you want to mount to the back of a monitor for a nice clean desk. I like the look of the PC with the blue light around the top so I opted to keep mine on the desk. the unit is just under 5" x 5" so it is nice and compact. The unit itself has a matte finish so it doesn't show finger prints as easily as a glossy finish. Set-up: Set-up for this computer was a breeze. I connected it to my monitor, plugged it in and after booting, it took me through the windows set-up process and I was up and running in minutes. After the initial set-up I let windows update itself, then checked the activation status and I had a fully activated Windows 10 Pro installation - Painless! Ports: The unit is well designed with the power cord and key ports like ethernet and HDMI on the back. Additional ports are on the side of the unit along with the power button for easy access. It has two HDMI ports, 1 Ethernet port, one headphone/mic port, power, 4 USB ports, and one TF port. It also has a notch for a cable lock. Overall, plenty of ports for your computing needs. Use: So far the user experience has been great. It is a pretty speedy machine and handles basic computing tasks with ease including office applications, as well as streaming content on a variety of streaming services. The machine boots up in around 16 seconds from a cold boot, and takes about 8 seconds to shut down. I most recently plugged it into a docking station and it supports 3 external monitors without skipping a beat. Wiped the windows 10 install and installed linux+kodi on this for use as a home theatre box. The onboard wi-fi doesn't work with linus(libreelec), but that's not a big deal since it works with a USB dongle I had lying around. After three months; it's still pretty reliable. Typically locks up after 24-36 hours of uptime and needs a reboot. It doesn't get too warm. It has a eMMC harddrive with an option to add an internal 2.5 drive. The additional drives works just fine when installed; however, no matter what tricks I tried, I could not install a bootable OS on the second drive and had to boot off of the eMMC drive. Not a deal breaker, but makes it a bit harder if you want to dual boot this guy. ... show more

I run a plex server out of my house and my brother asked me to get something similar setup for him with the caveat that it be more energy efficient than my full size PC. This fit the bill perfectly. The processor is powerful about to transcode 1080p video live on devices that may not support a particular codec. It works great streaming to an android 10 tablet. Size is perfect for just being an unassuming box attached to the TV and for use as a media center PC. Given that it's using integrated graphics, it doesn't do heavy gaming but I was able to play simple social media based games and browser based games. Plenty powerful for YouTube, web browsing, etc and with HDMI output you can easily use your TV as a large screen for surfing the web. All in all, we're happy with it for our purposes. I got this for my autistic son so that he could play games and surf the internet watching videos. He loves it although I have a few issues with it. 1) I have tried over and over again to stop the video from going to "sleep" or turning off because when it does, there is NOTHING that will bring it back on or wake up. Moving mouse, typing, and all the other normal windows processes don't work. I did set the BIOS to wake up on LAN command so I need to go to my computer to actually "wake" the computer. This is probably because their version of Win10 has been augmented to work within their environment and even though I told windows to not put monitor to sleep, it still does. The other issue I had was that 66 days after purchase, the HD died. Once I was connected with the seller they were very responsive and had me order an new one (which they reimbursed me for the cost of) and provided their Win10 image file and instructions of how to replace the HD. My wife and I are movie enthusiast and have tons of movies on thumb drives which will drive you about nuts trying to figure out which movie is on which Drive and my dumb smart TV won't play all movie formats so lots of movies we would have to watch on a small tablet versus the 65" big screen. This mini tvpc was the perfect solution I added a mini TV keyboard and a 5 terabyte hard drive.
