    • Step up and buy a better plane
I just had one job that needed a plane so I didn't want to spend very much. This plane is cheap. Construction is okay but the ability to adjust the depth of cut is difficult at best. Then it doesn't always stay in position. I regret buying this.

Well, it did the job I expected. Now I am totally inexperienced using ANY plane. It is hard for ME to control, someone with more experience could do better . I can't say it doesn't work well cuz I realy don't know. However it helped me when I needed it so- - - - -

Used it as soon as I got it. Helped unstick some doors due to age, weather and foundation settlement. Takes a lot of old fashioned elbow grease but it helped.

Takes some adjusting to get a decent cut. But worked for my laminate flooring which was reason I purchased. Alot harded to use on hardwood. May have to buy a better one for wood working if thats your use.

The blade is too narrow and the red housing clips are bent at different angles per the picture attached. It is impossible to maintain the blade in parallel with the slot during the operation.
