    • Cool setup, but why guitar picks?
Both my spouse and I think the way the storage is set up is nice - makes it easy to get to the bits and keeps them in their holder. The overall layout is nice, and it seems like it'll be durable, but I've only had it a week and used it once, so can't really say. Neither of us can figure out why there were three orange "guitar picks" in the included package with the branded cleaning cloth. They don't have any purpose in opening or using the tool. Last wish - that there was a dedicated way to store the tweezers, which are super handy in holding tiny parts as you remove/install them. Not saying where they are is truly a problem, but they rattle a bit and can get in the way if you don't put them in exactly right when you close the clamshell lid. Hope this isn't seen as negative - I gave it a 5 and it still seems a great value for the money! ... show more

Overall I'm very pleased. I went through a couple of sets trying not to step up to a much higher price point. I just don't use it enough to justify it. The drivers are overall great. There is however a crucial need for more Philips drivers. How so much variety could shortchange the most needed driver set is just beyond me. Buy some micro bits. Also my case arrived pre-torn( see pic). The kit was 100% new so I have no explanation. The company warranty covers it, they ship replacement no questions asked, but honestly I've packed so extras into it by now that there isn't space enough to use that belt loop anyway. Problems solved. Plus it's easier to hook a carabiner into the very sturdy rivet, and hook it on and off my belt as needed. Also notable, the flexible driver doesn't turn well at all. It will do the job, but uncomfortably and you won't look forward to needing it ever again (see picture 2). I can still picture it and hear it. Overall great for the pro-amateur like me, or maybe a beginning pro. The non-screwdriver tools are top notch. They't don't look like much but geez do they work well-make life almost too easy. If this sounds like you I think you'll be very happy buying this kit. ... show more

I've had this set for almost 2 years and it's been so handy. There has always been a bit for any of the work that I needed done. It hasn't rusted and nothing was missing/broken on or since arrival. The grip has friction and the bits don't fall out but its easy to remove when you choose to. The magnetism is real with this one. I loved the flexible bit attachment and it's one of my favourite features, not to mention the extra, different types of spudgers that I have if one happens to break. Overall you get your monies worth. Only thing is the bag could have been slightly bigger but I'm not going to remove a star for this minor inconvenience. So much more i could say but you sense my excitement so..... I HIGHLY RECOMMEND PURCHASING THIS! ... show more

Great for the price. This is a sturdy solid feel when using it. The handle is comfortable in my hand. A great and varied selection of bits. Two issues. As o e reviewer mentioned the bits are held in place by a magnet. For most uses works fine, but I see a potential of them slipping out of handle. Second more important issue, I have big fingers and it is kinda hard grabbing bits from tray. The markings are in front so when the tray pops up, they are hard to read. As an older slightly disabled tinkerer these are small but noteworthy concerns. That being said, this is a really nice useful set of tools. What its good for is lots of screws and no more wrist death. THis thing and others will change your life as an IT guru or hobby goer. The power is up to crack factory screws on most rc kits so far tested on the rtr lvl. And it has the power to snug fit at the right torque without the electronic stop like other versions. The best part is just removing screws like you have an air drill. THe cons. Comes with a few bits. For the money it seams its not hard to add 20 more or so bits and even an extender to the set husky has a lot of nice bits cheap that fit this and an extender. The bits dont stay in the chuck they can just fall out no magnetism on the chuck its self. I resolved this by cutting up a neodymium magnet and exposing it in side the chuck. ... show more

Great value for the money. I've used this kit to successfully work on a few computers. It left no marks or scratches and made the whole process much easier. While some tools aren't the sturdiest, it's more important that you choose the right tool for the job. If you use a spudger to pry something open instead of a plastic pick, yes the spudger will bend. If you're smart about how you use them, though, they should be fine. I don't repair computers everyday, so I can't speak for the long term durability of the kit. But if you just want something that has all the tools you need and is easy to store for occasional use, this is perfect. ... show more
