  • Probably one of the best aftermarket battery brand on Amazon.
For all of the DSLRs and point-and-shoot cameras I've owned, getting spare batteries have always been a huge expense if you want to get actual OEM batteries from Canon, Nikon, or whatever other brand camera you're getting. I've tried several aftermarket brands with my older cameras and either they don't really have as much battery life as advertised, or with the newer cameras they would not register with the camera. Meaning while they work, they will not show the remaining battery level on the camera while using them. Also usually their chargers would only work on their batteries and wouldn't charge the OEM ones. Or maybe it was that the OEM charger wouldn't charge the other aftermarket brand batteries. I forgot which, I just know that they usually don't work correctly. I discovered the Artman brand with my last DSLR. I bought a set of their batteries that came with a dual charger for them, and they worked perfectly. Camera correctly shows remaining battery level and their included dual charger charged OEM batteries as well. So no need to carry around multiple chargers. So when I upgraded to a Canon 5D Mark IV, of course I will revisit the Artman brand and see if they've kept up their quality. I'm happy to say that all of the things that worked correctly with the last set I bought also works correctly with this set. I haven't conducted any kind of studies yet to really compare these with the OEM batteries, but just from regular use they seem to last a good long time and the triple charger works with the OEM batteries again. So again Artman has done it again. Keep up your good work in affordable, but high quality, replacement batteries for our gadgets. ... show more

  • A decent set of LP-E6 type batteries and charger
If you're a photographer, particularly a professional photographer, you can never have enough batteries. With this kit, you get decent batteries and a triple-port charger that offers both USB-C or USB Micro-B input connections. All for $40. That's quite reasonable. As with any brand new battery, I can speak only to what it is doing today - not six months or one year from now - and today these batteries are charging to 100% using the provided charger. My camera turns on, it can see any two of the batteries when they are installed in the battery grip, and all batteries are reported as having 100% charge at power-on after a full charging cycle. They do work. The batteries are claimed to offer 2750 mAh performance. This compares to OEM capacity of 1800 mAh. If accurate, this is a 50% gain over OEM, which would be great. That being said, a true test of this claim would require a much more advanced charger (which I do not own) capable of discharging the battery and then measuring how long it takes to do so. So, as with all battery purchases, you must have a little faith that the manufacturer has not grossly overstated their batteries' capacities. Just keep in mind that even if the performance is just on par with OEM, or even slightly worse, you are still getting a good deal (provided the batteries don't experience a catastrophic failure of some kind). As with many (most?) third-party batteries, these batteries do not have unique battery IDs and thus cannot be registered with a Canon camera for operational/health tracking. The camera will see and use multiple batteries in a battery grip, even with the cloned ID, but it won't be able to give you per-battery shutter counts or recharge performance. This is mainly a concern for professional photographers (and I suspect many of them don't bother with it), but it's something to be aware of. In one of the images I uploaded, I draw attention to three items concerning the charger that everyone should know about: 1. Input current is limited to 2.4A. If this is a hard limit, 3.0A+ quick chargers will be of no benefit here. 2. The charger as a whole is capable of 850mA charging current split across all battery channels. As you add batteries, the current per channel is reduced. One channel in use? 850mA. Two channels in use? 550mA per channel. All three? 350mA per channel. One battery will charge faster than two or three. 3. The dual input interfaces are there for convenience and to ensure that you are not left without the ability to charge batteries should you lose the included USB Micro-B cable and just happen to have a USB-C cable available. You cannot use both interfaces simultaneously to shorten charging time. Overall, I think this is a decent kit that will extend shooting time and give you the means to charge all of the included batteries concurrently. Well worth the current asking price. ... show more

  • Great Battery
I have been using these batteries in my Canon R6 MarkII with no issues at all. I have been able to shoot longer with these batteries then I can with the manufacturer battery. The price of three of these batteries was cheaper than purchasing one extra manufactured battery. So far so good.

  • Work just as well as canon batteries
Love these. They seem to be just as good, if not a little better, than the canon ones. Certainly feel sturdier.
