The directions were terrible. They are tiny, unclear, skip steps, tells you to do things that don't exist, confusing, and it tells you that the toy needs AAA batteries when it actually takes 4 AA batteries. I'm glad we decided to put this together without children in the home so we didn't have that layer of anxiety added to the mix. However, ONCE it was all put together I will say that it is a really cute toy. The back wall panel has a really cute print, however it is thin cardboard so care will need to be taken to ensure that it doesn't get broken. Our machine was supposed to come with plush toys, plastic toys inside balls, and coins, however no coins or plush toys were received. This was a HUGE disappointment as the toy will NOT work without the coins. Fortunately for me I had ordered a second claw machine in a different design that also had coins so I was able to use one of those coins to make this one work while I wait for coins from this company to be sent. This machine works on batteries or a cord, but doesn't come with a cord. I did have a cord of my own at home though. The stickers are the type that are semi-removable while initially installing them. Meaning I was able to adjust them before really sticking them down all the way. I really appreciate this as sometimes when adding stickers to toys it's a "once you stick it you better mean it because it's there forever". My hands aren't always steady and I appreciate being able to adjust the stickers when initially applying them. When putting together the 4 corners there were letters labeling them, however they were tiny and we initially missed seeing them completely. We only noticed them much later because I had ordered a completely different machine at the same time for a second child and when putting together that machine their letters were really big and easily visible so we came back to this machine to see if it even had letters. The window walls do have a film on each side of them that can be pealed back. This can be challenging, but I was able to dig into the corner and get it started. This made them much clearer. There is a door on top for toy loading, but you can also load toys through the toy drop by tilting the machine. Regarding the actual mechanics. The claw levers work really well. They were easy for my child to work and helped keep frustration level low as the claw really stopped when the child stopped pressing the lever. The timer is long enough that if a toy isn't picked up the first time or is dropped that there is enough time to try again without having to put in another coin. I appreciate this as my child has challenges with patience/frustration level, anxiety, hand/eye coordination, etc. ... show more

This was supposed to be a holiday gift, but I tested it out first to avoid Christmas-morning meltdowns for unsuccessful gifts. Interesting how you have to plug it in with USB cable... which would frustrate a child to have to sit next to a wall to use this IMO. The toy itself is cute and attractive for a young kid, but it was made of super cheap plastic and a chain that will inevitably get tangled or break. The game itself is hard enough to make you want to keep trying but not impossible that you will get frustrated (or depending on the child, they might!). They do not give you a ton of fillers for it, but they are cute. Not much room for the fillers to go because the opening to "win" takes up a good amount of space. I returned because I can see this breaking after using it more than once. Hard pass. ... show more

This claw machine is so cute! I thought this might my hard to put together but it was so easy! Great value! Daughter had so much fun playing with this and was so fun to watch her skills grow. Style: Large Rabbit Claw Machine
This is adorable looking, it's maybe even too cute somehow. I didn't use all of the random bunny and animal themed stickers it came with when I assembled this, but I'll still give them to my niece and nephews in case they want to put them on later. This took longer to assemble that I expected, and the curved front clear plastic screen was more difficult to install correctly than it should have been. Somewhat confusing picture instructions but they were adequate enough for me to figure out on the first try. I will agree with others that the included prizes are kind of lame, but you can always buy your own candy or small prizes to put inside too. The motor on this is a bit loud and slow but it does work fine for moving the claw forward, backwards, left and right, and up and down. Keep in mind that there is no automatic stop on the up and down grabbing lever, so make sure to explain to kids not to burn out the motor by continuing to make it go up and up (or down and down), when it's already all the way to the top (or bottom). The claw can't go all the way to the left or right or to the front or back of the case edges because of the limit from the top frame, but the claw still does a good job of grabbing soft toys near the edges anyway. Do not over fill this claw machine with toys because the claw is only on a chain so it can't dig through too many toys very well. The USB cord would be way better if it was much longer, but it turned on and lit up right away when I plugged it in. Different and fun sounding songs play as the 60 second counter times your turn. The timer is stopped and goes back to zero when the toy falls into the collection slot. This toy is operated by plastic coins that are stored in the same drawer that they fall into from the coin slot on the front. This is very lightweight and not incredibly sturdy feeling so the recommended ages of 6+ seems appropriate so you can explain to them to be careful when playing with it. It was hard to tell the color of this bunny carrot themed claw machine, but I would best describe it as a melon or salmon pinkish orange color. This toy can also run on 4 AAA batteries, but they can not be the rechargeable kind of batteries which is a bummer. Provides plenty of entertainment for the kids and would also be fun set up at a birthday party or in a classroom or quirky office environment. My 6 year old nephew is obsessed with claw machines in general so this home sized version was an excellent item for him and his brother and sister to play with. Hopefully it lasts awhile too, but I will update my 4 star review if needed. Very entertaining item for kids and adults. ... show more
