This mini chainsaw comes in handy for cutting up some branches I pruned from a tree as well as some large plant stumps. Both jobs are too small for a full-sized chainsaw, and too big for hand tools. The chainsaw itself was already assembled, lightweight, easy to use, and it cut very well. The carrying case was a nice touch as well, and I was glad to have two batteries in the set, although so far one battery has lasted as long as I've needed. For this price point, I'm very happy with the quality and accessories that are included. The only thing not included in the set is chainsaw oil, which you have to buy separately. This mini chain saw is a great efficient saw. It is so much easier to use than a full-size chain saw. Most often there is no need for a full-size chain saw. It comes with a very nice case and 2 batteries. So there is plenty of power and each battery lasts for 30 min giving you an hour of use time, which should be enough time to complete most jobs. This was a great mini chainsaw—good for trimming up thicker hedge branches. I liked the longer saw for removing some small stumps….also liked that it included an automatic chain oiler, gloves, safety glasses, and a handle to hold onto so it wouldn’t jump around. Two batteries provided. What I couldn’t trim with this chainsaw, I was able to remove with a separate hand saw. (I’m 64, and a woman). Very happy with my purchase. ... show more

    • Great Pruning Saw!
This handheld mini chain saw is the best! It's just what I needed in pruning those larger branches up high. So, there are those high branches that you just can't snip with hand shears. What makes it worse is that you are on a ladder with only one hand to cut the branches. A hand saw at this point is difficult as, you are trying to cut and balance on the ladder. This saw solves that problem. With this saw, you get both balance on the ladder while swiftly cutting the branch without any effort. This chainsaw kit comes with everything you need for an amateur tree cutter (gloves, safety glasses, tools, 2 batteries and a case). Of course you can't and shouldn't cut anything more than a 5" diameter branch. The saw is lightweight and easy to handle with one hand. It also comes with a screw on handlebar to help steady your cut if needed. I like the auto lubricate feature, along with a sharpening file to help keep the chain sharp. Mine came with the 8" bar and chain installed. Not sure why I would even need the 6" bar and chain as, with the 8" chain you get a little extra reach. If you have lots of pruning to do, I highly recommend this chainsaw kit. It will make pruning quick, easy, efficient and fun! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This chainsaw is surprisingly lightweight runs fairly quietly and very powerful. Incredibly useful that it comes with two batteries although I never even ran through the first pruning a large tree, including trimming it down for the trash. It’s well balanced and easy to use with one hand, it does have a recommended stable handle for two hands. It’s easily interchangeable between 6 inch and 8 inch. Everything comes with his package, including safety goggles, and gloves. It has an oil well to keep the chainsaw running smoothly.
