    • Doesn’t rock. Defeats purpose.
Basically a chair with bassinet attached. Rocks maybe about an inch. The “rocker” part was terribly designed and makes it hard to move. The only reason I’m not sending it back is because it was a pain to put together and to take it apart and put it back in the boxes (by the way it comes in 2 boxes) is just too much of a hassle. So I guess I’ll just leave this stagnant chair in the nursery. Garbage. Spend a little more money on the real rocker bassinet combo. ... show more

We read a ton of reviews on this item. The recurring theme was that it was difficult to put together. We decided to order anyway. There were some issues with the instructions, but my wonderful husband powered through and finished assembly. It’s a beautiful piece. But the whole purpose is to rock a baby. It doesn’t really rock. It barely moves. I do believe with some alterations from the maker they could have a wonderful piece of furniture. Because it does not rock, we sadly had to return it. This was supposed to be a gift for our daughter and her husband. I’m very sad that it didn’t work out. ... show more

    • Difficult to put together
We had to send it back. The screws were difficult to put in and tightened. Once we figured out that some of the black cloth covering got in the way of the screws going in properly and we had to move that aside we were able to insert and tighten. Once we had the chair almost completely put together the post that holds the screws in on the left side of the arm rest decides to pop off and now there is nothing to hold the arm rest in place. I called the company and of course I had to bend over backwards to get part replaced. So I decided to just send it back through Amazon who only sent me 1 return. Label for a delivery that came in to boxes. What a nightmare! Good look if you decide to purchase this item. ... show more

VERY hard to put together. None of the holes line up. Advise to take a xanax before trying to put together.

    • Bassinet Kept Breaking
We bought this for convenience for after the birth of baby #2. My husband put it together and the side of the bassinet wouldn't stay on. Every couple days he had to put the screw back in. The hole/screws weren't stripped, it just wouldn't stay in place. The rocker itself has been okay so far.

Both pieces of this set were machined sloppily and could not be put together without drilling to force the holes and brackets to line up. When we contacted Milliard “customer service,” this is what they told us after requesting 3 sets of photos: “When this problem occurs, we advise to loosen all the screws, and align the pieces up again, once the pieces are aligned, then tighten the screws Hope this helps, if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out” I would recommend not buying anything made by this company.
