On days when I can meditate outside or do a little gardening, I spray this outside about 30 minutes to an hour before going outside and I have no bug problems at all. I also tried it once even as I have a frequent raccoon who likes to perch up on my neighbor's rooftop and occasionally in my yard.     • Product busted on arrival and wouldn't attach to garden hose
The product was leaking on arrival. Liquid managed to leak out of the screw cap, through the plastic bag it was sealed inside of and onto another product that was also in my Amazon package. It ruined my other product, and the peppermint severely irritated my hands. The scent was overwhelming and permeated everything. None of that would be a concern if it wasn't leaking everywhere. I thought I'd try to salvage what was left of the product, but then it wouldnt attach to my garden hose. It spins and won't thread. I have other spray applicators that work fine with the same hose.     • Smells like mint tea but works not good for mosquitos
Smells not nearly as strong as others made it seem. It literally just smells like peppermint tea which made me wonder if it would even work. However this works on gnats and those little bugs that like to go after light. I sprayed the outside panels and windows for my house because as soon a light in the house turns on at night within 15 minutes the windows are swarmed with bugs. This product is super effective I haven’t seen a single bug yet and I sprayed about an hour ago now. I’ll update to see if it lasts throughout the week! But I highly recommend this product for ppl that want to enjoy their porch or deck bug free. I suggest placing some of this product diluted with water into an empty spray bottle then just spray the area you don’t want bugs. I haven’t used it on my yard yet but given how effective it was on my porch, deck, and windows I’m sure it will work. Lastly for the price I’d say this product works better then Wondercide in terms of bugs that like light etc. however I’d probably still use wondercide for mosquitos and my yard and just use this for small areas outside the house like windows etc. Update! Does not work for mosquitos at all only bugs attracted to the light at night ... show more

I have a mulberry tree dropping tons of fruit that rots and creates a perfect fruit fly paradise. Also the mosquitoes get bad at night. I got this product to cut down the bugs in the yard. I sprayed the seating areas, where my dogs lie down in the shade and under the mulberry tree. It smelled nice and was easy to use and I loved the non pesticide aspect but I put a generous amount down and later the same day I was absolutely swarmed with fruit flies.
