I do switch between the turbo vacuum head and the hardwood flooring head because the hardwood flooring head has an easier time going right up against the baseboards. **Build Quality:** The vacuum is very well made, with a sturdy construction that promises durability.     • Impressive replacement for my Dyson
My wonderful dog’s heavy coat was overwhelming my Dyson Blue. I decided to move to a canister bagged vacuum, but had to return a Kenmore canister that was too cumbersome to clean my 1934 2000 sq ft house with four floors. My husband suggested I ask Chat GPT so I did! I was given two recommendations for Miele canister vacuums because of the three flights of stairs and original footprint smaller size rooms.. I chose the Miele Classic C1 Turbo for the weight (13.2 #) and the Turbo cleaning head for my dog’s thick coat. WOW! It is the perfect Dyson replacement: provides a deeper clean, is super nimble, and easy to hold with one hand while vacuuming stairs. The upholstery attachment does a wonderful job on my furniture. The standard floor attachment quickly cleans floors and throw/occasional rugs. The Turbo head leaves thicker rugs totally fur free. But the bomb is the Parquet Twister floor attachment. Zips along nimbly navigating around and under furniture; definitely worth the $$ especially if you, too, have a lot of hardwood floors.     • Powerful Suction in a Compact Footprint - Expensive Bags
This is my third Miele VAC and I love it. I do, however, miss the internal tool storage. The flimsy exterior mount for the accessory tools included is nearly worthless so you have to work around this issue and that is why it lost one star. It is a powerful and compact vacuum with classic Miele maneuverability and retractable cord. The included power-head attachment works very well when the bag is less than half full, beyond that, it only provides a limited benefit. I have a Siberian Husky dog, so I probably go through the expensive bags faster than most people would. If you don't have a pet and just have to deal with day to day dust and dirt, then ignore this comment. Highly efficient, replaceable exhaust filters work well to remove particulate matter and other contaminants unlike lower quality vacuums and that is a big advantage in owning a Miele.
