It's been 3 months so far, and it's been a great little freezer. We bought it to handle overflow from the big fridge when we buy in bulk, run into good sales, etc..... Delivery was great. I was really scared that they'd just drop it off the back, etc...., but they brought it covered, on a hand dolly, all belted in. No damage to the box, and more importantly, no damage to the fridge. The color is a standard black and streamlined in design. It simply looks like a midsized box or a modern cabinet a bit. The size is perfect, big enough to handle a multiple ice cream cartons, a few big flats of chicken, beef, ribs, etc... Also a couple of bags/boxes of fries, frozen vegetables, etc... I'm 6' tall, and it's about waist high, I put it on a little platform so it would be easier to reach the bottom basket/shelf. Noise isn't bad, just a little hum sometimes, not enough to be distracting. Cooling is ok, my fridge's freezer seems to get a little colder, but I haven't noticed anything bad like melting ice cream, etc.... It's freezing things well. It has a little turn lock at the bottom, it works, but I never use it. It's in an annoying spot, and I just don't have a need. It's not a standard key, but a hex type. You could probably use a standard hex key to get in if you ever lost the real one. Will update if anything bad happens. :). ... show more

I bought this freezer mainly to store enough frozen containers to keep in coolers instead of buying any bags of ice. So far the freezer is working great. Nice size and fits good on a work bench .

I bought it a little over 2 months ago & it's so worth the buy. It came in perfect condition. It fits everything I needed it for. I plugged it a few hours after unboxing, threw a popsicle in it and it froze it by an hr or 2. I have it set at the middle setting. It does make a humming noise but nothing over bearing. I placed it on top of my refrigerator at a small angle. The legs (knobs) in the front are adjustable. I have very little frost. Nothing that needs scrapping. I have the thermostat on 4 after the initial charging/waiting period and it stays cold. Not sure if I should put it on a stand/mat when it comes time to defrost. This is a great little freezer with no refrigerator. Cools rapidly and is very quiet. It also comes with keys to lock the door so no children get hurt. The door seal is very strong so leads to having quiet a tug to get it open.

I let my freezer sit for 1 1/2 day just to be sure and then I put some water in it to test it out for freezing and it was a beautiful thing! Love, love love it. If you are on the fence as I was, get off and purchase it as it is a real good deal from Amazon.
