The Good: This thing is quiet, I mean, really freaking quiet... "is that ac unit even on? I don't hear anything..." It cools extremely well and it looks very nice, allowing you to close your window far more than other window units. It has a high efficiency rating and my electric bill reflects that. The remote control is clean with a high degree of functions built in. Air filter is extremely easy to clean and maintains a good air quality. The Bad: My only complaint is that there is not a wider range of installation options available to fit wider windows, requiring a bit of ingenuity to install this in an older house even with modern windows. Doable, but you may have to get creative. The Ugly: I have not found or experienced anything with this product that I could label "Ugly" Conclusion: I absolutely will recommend this product to anyone that needs a window unit for a window that opens VERTICALLY (Not a good choice for windows that open horizontally).     • Amazing air conditioner!
My house was built in 1958 way before central air conditioning, and in Florida air conditioning is a must. I have a huge a/c unit in my living room that keeps the house cool, but it doesn’t quite keep the bedroom cool enough at night. I wanted to take the strain off my main unit, so It was becoming clear that I needed a small unit just for my bedroom. I was really worried about the noise of a window unit because my big unit is very noisy, and I was worried about the heat getting in through the typical window unit accordion sides under the window (my living room unit is a through the wall style that is sealed around the unit). When I saw the design of this one I was intrigued. When I did some research on this a/c unit, I knew this unit was for me. It uses a thick dense foam to seal the area under the window on the sides of the unit, and the window dividing the compressor keeps it super quiet. Installation was very easy, and when we turned it on for the first time I was amazed how quiet it ran. My ceiling fan makes more noise than this unit! There are times I have to wonder if it is even on because it is so quiet. It keeps my room super cool as well even when set at 75 degrees. ... show more

Instruction is easy to follow. Works great. Only complaint I have is the foam provided is a bit short for our window if used as instructed so we had to go and buy more for full coverage. AC works great, not noisy at all and the design is very nice.

It was great for all of about four months. Then it started saying EH 60 and now it either runs the compressor constantly and makes the room FREEZING or won't run it at all. Piece of garbage. Just avoid it. Edit: now their customer service is telling me my proof of purchase is invalid because I bought it on Amazon. They refuse to provide any service. AVOID THIS COMPANY! ... show more

It’s a bit complicated to get installed and fill all the gaps (we have old windows) but it’s nice. We have it for our bedroom. Works well. Very quiet. I like that you can turn the display and lights off so they aren’t shining while you’re trying to sleep. First night using it so I’ll update if anything changes. ... show more

    • Works, but weak for a 250 Sq Ft insulated workshop
It took a while to install, but was straightforward and I was able to do it alone. I have a 250 sq. foot workshop which has insulated walls and no insulation in the ceiling. I was limited, by the size of my windows, to this unit. It did not cool the space down in the hottest weather. I'm insulating the ceiling this week, so maybe that will help when the weather turns hot. ... show more
