Highly recommend this planter. I was very surprised the quality is top notch. I would recommend that you put a pot in the pot. the water hole in the bottom is helpful but then you would need a dish to capture the run off in. Pot in Pot solves the issue.

I spent a considerable amount of time researching these stands (Pottery barn, West Elm, Wayfair, Lowes, Amazon) and in the end decided to invest what I considered to be a lot for a pot ($130 each) because I wanted it to look "perfect" as a piece of modern furniture in my living room. After finding these on Amazon I purchased due to the positive reviews with the expectation it would look stunning. They were easy to assemble and I just love the clean lines and overall appearance. It's still a 5-star product except the wooden legs look noticeably lighter/darker between the two. I definitely recommend these as the appearance and overall look are exactly as expected and they beat any others I considered, just a bit odd that the color between the two wood stands is off slightly Recommended! ** Update, wanted to share how I handled the water/drain situation as that was something that concerned me. The plants shown in my photos came inside an inner nursey pot (cheap, thin) and that pot was placed inside an outer plastic pot (nicer but still cheap plastic). That configuration had a spacer/riser that lifted the inner pot up to provide room for drainage. This seemed like a great idea as there was very slight amount of water present. For the new ceramic pot I simply repeated this setup Due to this being placed on wood floors and fear of leak, I left the drain plug that came in the pot I bought a cheap $1 thin clear plastic saucer from the home improvement store (It had a slight taper so I had to trim about 1" from the top in order to get the outer diameter to fit into the white pot) I placed the spacer/riser on top of the saucer and the nursery pot on top of the spacer Maybe overkill, but I feel confident this setup provides amble drainage to the plant while also protecting for leaks on the wood floor ... show more

Searched and searched for a ceramic planter this size with a drainage hole and couldnโ€™t find anything locally! This planter is so sleek and modern looking. Love that itโ€™s ceramic! Love that it has a drainage hole and the stand is just the icing on the cake. Itโ€™s heavy and durable. I had no issues with the stand. It is sturdy and beautiful. Had to tap it with a hammer to get it to fit evenly together so that the legs were even and then I added the screw. Itโ€™s absolutely beautiful and I will be ordering a couple more in the future, definitely a statement planter! ... show more

    • Beautiful pot but issue with stand

This was a real splurge for me to purchase! Stand is nice but one leg is 3/16-1/4 inch shorter than the rest in both tall and short set up. Wanted to return for new one but the pot is super heavy for me to repackage and return. It looks nice but is wobbly. Am hoping I can get a new replacement stand only but not sure how to go about it. If it gets resolved Iโ€™d give 5 stars for all! ... show more

Update: wanted to provide buyers with an update to my review below. Upon hearing about my issues the seller jumped into action, contacted me and offered to replace the unit as soon as possible. Their customer service team went out of their way to no only make sure the replacement unit was sent quickly and received but even after getting it they followed up to make sure it was perfect.. and it was. Both the stand and the pot are high quality and well built. Definitely worth the investment. Customer service is top notch and at the end of the day that was what turned this from a mediocre experience to an excellent one. If you read my original review below I have to admit that it was most likely an anomaly. I highly recommend this pot/stand combo. Original Review Was very excited to receive this pot after looking online for weeks. The pot + stand seem to be of high quality. Outer packaging was secure/well packed but the original item box was previously opened and I suspect it was a returned unit that was re-stocked. The stand is beautiful and solid but just a tiny bit uneven on my floor - not the end of the world (no felt pads included like others have received). Unfortunately the pot itself is not as good as I had hoped. There are zero finish problems and its seems very solid (with drainage hole and plug) but its clear that when it was manufactured that it was allowed to form/dry in a slightly oval shape. The bottom is perfectly circular but as you move up to the top it looks a bit like it was made in high school art class and the top is a bit egg shaped. Haven't decided yet if I am going to return it. In the middle of a pandemic it just seems like its not worth it to pursue a refund. Very disappointed. My guess is that if you purchase this your chance of getting one that is perfect is 50/50. ... show more

I bought this for our Lemon tree since we have to bring it in for the winter, I wanted something stylish. This definitely meets that requirement. I am a little nervous about the legs holding up in the long run. We've had it for maybe a month and already the wood legs show wear with watering and sunlight. The pot itself is nice, heavy but not too bad, and has a watering plug on the bottom. I'm not sure what others are saying about the hole being covered by the stand.... just turn the pot, lol. All in all, I'm happy with my purchase and if the stand needs fixing or replaced later, my hubs is handy and he can do it. ... show more

At first glance you might think this is too expensive. I did as well & ordered a less expensive pot & a separate stand, which when combining those costs gets closer to the price of this duo. The issue with every other 10โ€ pot Iโ€™ve purchased is the grower pots are around 9.5โ€ and do not fit well in every other 10โ€ pot. THIS pot reminds me of Goldilocks & the three bears. Itโ€™s 10.5โ€ wide over all & an ACTUAL 10โ€ interior. The grower pot fits perfect. Thanks to the manufacturer for recognizing this & providing a real solution. ... show more
