  • Great Speed Booster!Just Step Aside Metabones!
So far this Viltrox EF-M2ii has been great to work with my Panasonic GH5. Very sharp and no chromatic aberrations. I use Sigma 18-35 F1.8, Tamron 70-300mm and Canon EF 50mm STM to test it. All of them have a fantastic bokeh and work perfectly with this adapter in 90 percent of the time. I have to say I have been blown away by the quality and build, and only wished I had bought it before. Very solid and sturdy, doesn't feel cheap which makes me happy I didn't pay the extra cash for a Metabones. I'll update if anything goes wrong but so far so good. Small issues: - Sometimes Auto Focus does not work right after you turn it on. You have to restart the camera one or two times until the lens is detected as AF. - Auto focus sometimes causes problems. The lens focuses on an area in front of or behind the object and you have to press the shutter button halfway until it finally has the object. ... show more

  • Not bad work perfect
I very satiafied with except for the aperture thingy its weird puting a aperture kinda like a switch that needs to taken cared of. Its quite delicate and get stock sometimes plus its hard to tweak it because you fingers is caught up between the flash and the switch. Sorry the guys that has big fingers youll gonna have a hard time. But functionality wise its really good its fast well built. Autofocus works really great. Thoughi shoot manual on video. For photo its really good. Ill give a 95/100 because of that aperture switch ... show more

  • One thing you should know
MFT Lens Adapter works great but I would suggest looking up how to update the software for it to get it to to work. I bought this for my BMPCC 4K and at first it did not work until I figured out that there was a need to update that software. Now let me be more specific, when I say it did not work, I am referring to the auto focus and Iris/aperture controls from the BMPCC 4K where not working. ... show more

Love this adapter!

  • ++
Allowed me to use my Canon 50mm and 75-300mm on my Panasonic LUMIX G9 and Olympus OM-D E-M10 III. The Auto-focus requires some patience and doesn't always work perfectly but the images it produces are sharp and far superior to my fully manually adapter, it even allowed me to utilize my manual Zeiss 50mm which was impossible with my other adapter.. ... show more

  • This order actually arrived!!
Twice ordered and this order actually made it to my door!! I had ordered one a month ago, but it was probably stolen by someone in the amazon transport chain because it just never arrived! Thankfully this was actually delivered. Already tested successfully indoors in low light with the following lenses: - CANON EF MACRO 50 F/2.5 - Canon 40mm f/2.8 STM - Tamron SP 150-600mm F/5-6.3 Di VC USD G2 - TOKINA AT-X PRO DX 12-24 F/4 - Tamron 16-300 f/3.5-6.3 DiII VC PZD Macro - Tamron 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DI VC USD - Canon 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS II USM Lens I originally wasn't keen on buying this adapter after reading all the reviews, but my wife actually mentioned the HUGE advantage of having/using all my EOS EF lenses on the Olympus cameras, and so I finally did give in and ordered. At least this time it DiD arrive! Tested first on the M5-mkIII , and the only time the M5-mkIII didn't recognize a lens was the very first time a lens was mounted and it was the Tamron 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DI VC USD. Remembering a review I read, I switched the camera on&off a few times, and it amazingly worked, and had NO problem with all the other lenses at all!! The viewfinder display of the focal length indicator functions in the M5 mkIII & M1 mkII, which is very cool to see!! UPDATE: Took the 150-600mm out on an overcast day. While sometimes it would focus well with the M1 mkII, other times it couldn't focus at all. It focused on fast flying ducks even flying high with grey background sky with no problem, and amazingly maintained focus even when the ducks passed in front of background clutter (trees, houses, etc), but later couldn't focus on a coastline with solid whites and colors, good contrast and houses. Had to manually focus often. Also took out the Tamron 16-300 f/3.5-6.3 DiII VC PZD Macro. While it did focus, 90% of the images were just a tad off in sharpness. It seems this adapter allows lenses to focus WELL indoors in low light, where the light is the only light source in otherwise darkness. When outside, it seems to be "blinded" by vast amounts of brightness and cannot focus well, or loses focus quickly! Varying the aperture did not help at all. Also, cannot be used with ANY lenses on my tripod gimbal due to adapter's protruding tripod socket. ... show more

  • Freezes GH5 every time
This mount freezes my GH5 every time I try to use it with the Sigma 18-35. Every. Time. I have to take the battery out to unfreeze it. As a result, it's been sitting in my closet for two years. I just upgraded all firmware on everything, tried the "hold the aperture button down while turning on" trick, and everything else the internet recommends. Still freezes. Every. Time. This mount should work WITHOUT all of those hacks, but it doesn't work even with those recommendations. Do not waste your time or money on this. ... show more
