We have played this game in the past with a basic set. Sometimes with the older one the values of the dominios were difficult to discern. With this newer updated version with case, it is much better and we love it! We are giving it as gifts to people who have played it an loved it with us. Ages from grade school to seniors have fun with this relaxed game that allows you to interact and visit casually playing, or strain your brain for the best strategy. Highly recommend it. (oh...it would be nice to 'travel' if using at a hotel/motel, but not suitable of in the vehicle playing while driving down a road, so we marked it lower for traveling (which seemed a silly category unless you were thinking about playing it after reaching your destination or stops). ... show more

We played with some friends last year and decided to buy 2 to gift to family for the holidays. It was an instant hit! There are lots of ways to play but we do the classic game and everyone has loved it. My mom asked to play a game every night. It does take a while when you’re first learning so keep that in mind but once everyone knows what’s going on you can get through several hands in reasonable time. The only thing we didn't like was the fact that the game didn't come with the wooden holders for the game pieces. Other than that the game is great fun for the whole family.
