I got this for my boyfriend for his birthday and he LOVES it. The strap is adjustable from both ends which is great. The rope tarp is so big and it’s great for climbing outside and keeping your rope off the ground with space to spare. The colour is VERY different, from the picture I thought it’s be a green grey and it is KEY LIME. Thank goodness my guy doesn’t mind, but I was very surprised when it showed up. ... show more

As others have pointed out, the color shown is a little bit different than what it actually looks like (see attached). I'm using it with an Edelweiss 60m rope and it fits perfectly well. The bag does the job well, but it could use some improvements: * Add a spare small pocket somewhere for carabiner/clips/etc * An additional zipper. The Metolius Dirtbag II is a solid rope bag for the price. It is certainly no frills, with only one shoulder strap, but it fits easily into my larger backpack, and holds my 60m dynamic rope with room to spare. Some reviews say it holds 70m... Most importantly, it has a very large tarp, which, in the end is why you buy a rope bag. My only critique is that the green color is a much BRIGHTER green than the olive drab in the picture. ... show more

well built bag with large tarp attached. A real time-saver. I can now put my rope back in the bag in less than a minute. Compared to flaking it back into regular stand up rope bag, which takes 10 minutes. That adds up in a days time when I am roping multiple trees . I highly recommend this bag.

The photo is SEVERELY misleading. The color IS NOT what is pictured. I ordered this rope bag for my boyfriend who is an avid climber for Christmas. When it arrived I just wrapped the box and put it under the tree. When he opened it christmas morning- I was really disappointed to see that the thing is actually BRIGHT LIME GREEN.
