PTA reimbursed me for this. Our school does not provide quality coolers for fieldtrips, I was always told to ask a parent if I did not want to use the school coolers which are so old the plastic is rotting the handles have broken and none have wheels and there are exactly 6 for the whole school to use and it takes 2 for one class. This however fit lunches for 21 students and 8 adults, and 6 gallon bags full of ice, it has wheels so I can move it myself if need be and I no longer have to feel like a Dickensian orphan going to the parents and begging for a cooler to borrow for the fieldtrips. ... show more

This cooler is very handy. Very useful and a good size. Fits in the back of my van easily. The build quality is what you’d expect from a plastic cooler. My only gripe and it’s a big one is that the lid doesn’t have a prop to stay open while filling the cooler. In 2024 why would you not have some sort of prop to keep the lid open? I purchased this cooler because I wanted to downgrade from one giant and heavy cooler to two easier to move around coolers when I go camping. Additionally, I was looking to have one be specifically for drinks (and one for food) and this cooler fit the bill perfectly! The cooler arrived pretty quickly and I was happy to get free shipping with Amazon since I don't pay for prime. While I didn't really need one with wheels, this one was the right dimensions to fit into my hitch rack with the other cooler and the wheels will make it much easier to move around so that's a bonus. The cooler is the perfect shape for drinks, as it's tall and narrow so it will easily accommodate bottles of wine or beer without having to lay them on their side. I haven't used it yet and don't have any camping trips for a few more months, but I fully expect this cooler to be up to the standards of the Coleman name. I love how much food fits in this cooler! I bought it last minute for a camping trip during the hottest week of the year— temperatures well over 100°. The ice inside the cooler surprisingly lasted over 24 hours and even after it fully melted, the water inside the cooler was still freezing cold. We added ice to it twice during the four day trip. It’s easy to drain and doesn’t leak. It’s currently in the garage, full of extra cans of soda and beer left over from a party last month.
