    • It Really Is Clear, Flavorless, NonGritty, And Works As Described
After developing sensitivity to food coloring and flavorings I have struggled with all other dietary fiber products. My Physical Therapist suggested compare the clear flavorless alternative offerred by Metamucil after I complained about other brands that claimed to be ckear flavorless fiber supplements being cloudy- white and gritty in juice or leaving me dehydrated as one fiber supplement brand did. The differences in how three different brands all work three different ways in my body was surprising to me. I need to take this product to help supplement my fiber intake and regulate my digestive process. Following prolapse surgery, I have learned Metamucil is the only one that lives up to the claims.     • Tasteless!
I was skeptical, but you really cannot detect this! I just use it in my yogurt or protein shake, so I haven't tried it in something thin like water or juice. But I'm really happy that I don't notice it at all in my foods. A really easy way to add more fiber to my diet!

    • Terrible packaging but effective
I struggle with a regularity and this is quite helpful. However, the long tube shape package makes it very messy as there is no spoon long enough to reach in there. I have no idea why this is the design they have chosen.

Metamucil Unflavored Clear Mixing Powder has been a lifesaver for me. Because of colitis/IBS issues i have been using Metamucil products for years to control the problem. I had been using the Real Suger with its sugar, orange flavorings and Yellow Dye--which i have become severely allergic. Because i also have celiac disease i must have something that is gluten free. I obviously needed to get away from the dye but also wanted to get away from sugar and artificial flavorings. I found this unflavored clear mixing powder on Amazon (it seems to not be sold in stores in my area) and ordered it. It has worked wonderfully! I waited to make a review until i had used the product for a month so i could remark on how it really worked. It has kept me very 'regular' without any problems. It mixes so easily and it really is like drinking a glass of water. I highly recommend it. I have just bought several containers because it is not available in my area and even on Amazon there could be availability issues so i do sincerely hope Metamucil continues with this product because there are more people than just me that can't have gluten and artificial dyes. ... show more
