    • I love this supplement
I got this supplement after my husband researched it and decided we should try it. I figured what do I have to lose. I've been working out/bodybuilding for almost 7 years now and like to try new things. I'm not on my second bottle. I can't say that it helps with my recovery or muscle building. I can't really tell much of a difference. I will say though that it gives me weird dreams and it's definitely affected my mood. Mood - I was taking Prozac for depression for the last 2 and 1/2 years. I decided to take myself off of it and things were okay but not the greatest. I noticed when I started taking this my mood improved dramatically. Once I stumped the Prozac I could tell the depression and anxiety came back a little bit. Once I started taking the supplement I noticed I no longer felt slightly depressed. But I think the biggest change is with PMS symptoms. I don't get PMS at all when I'm on this. I stopped taking it when I was sick because I wasn't working out and the PMS symptoms came back in full force. I'm not going to stop taking this supplement. It's worth the improvement in my mood. Dreams - it's definitely gives me some vivid dreams. Nothing like lucid dreams or anything but they're definitely weird. Overall I would say this is definitely a good supplement. If you want it for mood improvement then I would definitely get it. If you only want it for muscle recovery and bodybuilding, then there may be something more beneficial out there. I just know I love this stuff and I'm not going to stop taking it. ... show more

    • If You Want Better Sleep, Use ZMA!
I'm a HUGE fan of ZMA and have been using it for nearly 20 years. The majority of people are deficient in both zinc and magnesium due to poor nutrition and the lack of high-quality soil and food sources. If you exercise regularly, then you'll definitely be deficient as the body needs both for performance. For that reason alone, everyone should supplement with ZMA. I've used ZMA for its sleep benefits. I take it about 30-60 minutes before bed, and it has always helped me sleep great and wake up without feeling drowsy (I do NOT recommend using melatonin). One "side effect" of ZMA will be the very vivid dreams. Don't be scared. They're great! But sometimes you won't know if it was a dream or really happened. For men, zinc also helps with testosterone and it has immunity benefits. Yes, women can and should take ZMA as well, but the serving size is typically 2 caps (instead of 3 for men). No, you wont have too much testosterone or any side effects. I've used various brands of ZMA and my top three are NOW, PrimaForce, and Optimum Nutrition (ON). I rotate what I use based on which one is least expensive at the time (since Amazon likes to change prices every time you buy something and want to buy it again). You can't go wrong with any of those brands, and you'll greatly appreciate the improved sleep and vivid dreams! ... show more

    • Used to love it, but after last night...
So ive been taking ZMA on and off for awhile, and I really like it because when I wake up, im up, its easier to get out of bed and I feel refreshed. However, people are not lying when they say you have vivid dreams, I always have them on ZMA, but last night I had the craziest dream ive ever had and im done with this product. Ive had weird dreams, only a few memorable, for example Ive had a vivid dream where I was in Afghanistan, and i remember I had a weapon in my had, no big deal, since its vivid I can just wake myself up, which I did. However last night, I had the most vivid weird dream ever, and it wasnt a nightmare per say, but it was super weird. So if you didnt know vivid dreams are essentially dreams that arent necessarily realistic, though they can be, they are very very real and you know most of the time that you are dreaming, hence the fact that you can usually wake yourself up when shit gets weird, because of the fact you are aware you are dreaming. Last night, I wont really write down what I experienced because Im definitely not a fantasy writer. But basically, this was some sort of future, and i was arrested by police and frozen. I was placed into a weird tube and shot through a loop, still frozen, with a women next to me and we had to pick from 3 picture frames that had glass and some sort of decoration in them. Not so weird right? problem is moving very fast, and the amount of physical vibration i felt throughout my body was the best feeling in the whole world, but it was incredibly overwhelming, and i was frozen, i couldnt do anything about it. And the world i was in was so weird, and the lack of me being able to move while being aware i was dreaming led me to believe i actually died, I just couldnt wake up because i was stuck in this loop of full body intense vibration and picking these stupid pictures. Once it stopped i immediately was able to wake up. when i woke up i was genuinly scared and was so unbelievably tired i tried to keep myself up for a few minutes because i literally never want to experience that ever again. anyways, its a good product, but every once in awhile you are going to have omega weird dreams, so be prepared for that. ... show more

    • Powerful recovery..
I gave 5 starts, this product is amazing, it help me have a good deep sleep, and reduce in a 30% the soreness in your body after the work out. I change my work out from 5am to late night usually anytime after 8pm and it is amazing how after a hard training section I can sleep all night and feel recovered in am. My muscle still tight but not as sore as they should be and after a deep sleep feel not tiredness in am. Met-rx is a great brand and will give you quality. They dont offer free samples and I'm not getting a discount for this review. I'm weigh lifter and the way I train require a good recovering time. I recommend this product. Take it before going to sleep so you can get the best out of it. ... show more
