Features

  • Remote Control: To enable HomeKit remote control, you need a HomePod, an Apple TV 4K, Apple TV HD, or an iPad. Set any of these Apple devices in your house as a HomeKit bridge and connect it to your home 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. Keep in mind that once your HomeKit bridge is set up, it has to be kept online. If it is powered off or disconnected from the Wi-Fi, it will fail to respond when you intend to control the device remotely.
  • Compact Size: Smart plug occupies only one socket, the device allows you to stack two mini smart plugs in the same outlet, which is convenient and practical.
  • Schedule: You can schedule connected home devices to turn on and off automatically by smart plugs. Save energy when lights are not needed or left on by accident. Sunrise and sunset setting are supported.
  • Quality: The mini plug is made of PC flame retardant material, and has been approved for safety and quality assurance. Certified by ETL and FCC, it supports home appliance up to 15A.

  • Solid smart plug with unbeatable pricing
I recently purchased the Meross Smart Plug Mini, and I have to say, I'm thoroughly impressed with this product. Not only does it offer an impressive range of features, but it's also incredibly reliable and stable within my HomeKit network. One of the things I love most about this smart plug is how easy it was to set up. All I had to do was download the Meross app, connect the plug to my Wi-Fi network, and voila - it was ready to use. From there, I was able to control the plug using the app, as well as through Siri, Alexa, Echo, Google Assistant, and Nest Hub. It's incredibly convenient to be able to control my devices with my voice, and I love that I can do it all from one app. The reliability of these smart plugs is also really impressive. I have over 50 devices in my HomeKit network, and these plugs have never given me any issues or dropped connections. They always work exactly as intended, which is a huge plus. Another great feature of these smart plugs is the timer function. I love being able to set a schedule for my devices to turn on and off, which saves me time and energy. It's also helpful for when I'm away from home and want to give the impression that someone is still there. Overall, I would highly recommend the Meross Smart Plug Mini to anyone looking for a reliable and versatile smart plug. It's easy to use, works with a variety of voice assistants, and is incredibly stable within a large HomeKit network. Whether you're a smart home enthusiast or just looking for an easier way to control your devices, this product is definitely worth considering. ... show more

  • Had for over a year
They’re easy to hook up to Apple HomeKit. Overall, they work very well to whatever you plug into them. We have lights fans, Christmas trees outside lights they all seem to work fine.

  • Can be controlled from Meross app or HK over 5G
I sent back my vocolincs because they wouldn’t stay connected despite all my efforts to troubleshoot. I got these, and did the firmware upgrade, and now I can use the Meross app and that seems to be working. HomeKit lost the connection after a few hours, but in Meross app all is fine. Plus I like that Meross has Apple Watch integration, whereas vocolinc didn’t. I’m just dipping my toe into the smart home world, don’t have a hub, and right now I just have one lamp on the network. Obviously there is a known issue with HomeKit dropping nearly all the Wi-Fi hub-free devices according to my research. But I’m ok with not having Siri and just pressing a button on my watch. Update: HomeKit is in and out of its own accord. I’ve done nothing to restore its link to the outlet, but it comes back on its own. Meross app is 100. Weird thing I discovered. My phone is back on 5Ghz radio after the initial 2.4Ghz setup, and yet HomeKit and Meross can turn the outlet on/off just fine now. When I first tried it, the app told me on I wasn’t connected. It is SO FREAKIN WEIRD that these things seem like they have a life of their own. ... show more

  • Incompatible with some modern mesh routers
I setup home automation systems for residences part time. Most setups use Alexa/Google for automation but the latest was an exclusive Apple Homekit setup. If you’re also looking to hop onto the Homekit bandwagon and eyeballing these Meross outlets as the lowest-cost option, read on. First, setting up the Meross outlet and bulbs was more of a process than competitors, like Feit and Philips. For a few devices, the setup failed initially, requiring resets (which can burn 3-10 minutes each time). After a few failed attempts, we got all Meross devices operational. 12 hours later, the Home app indicated “no response” for one of the outlets. Resetting icloud, phone, hub, etc, did not fix the problem. The outlet was once working perfectly but is now non-functional. In the router settings, we could see that the device was still connected to the 2.4Ghz wi-fi network, so something was very fishy. We went ahead and did a clean reset of all devices at this point. Then, 12 hours later, a different Meross outlet stopped working! After a few days of whack-a-mole device resets, user testing, and researching forums, we figured out the issue. The customer was using a Netgear Orbi mesh router system which uses both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz bands and forces a single network name (SSID) for both bands. Because the Meross devices work exclusively on 2.4Ghz networks, it gets “confused” when it sees a 5Ghz network with the same name. We spent a week experimenting with different router settings to ensure the devices remained on the 2.4Ghz band with no luck. Also, don’t bother searching for solutions to root into the router and set a different SSID – you’ll corrupt your router settings, requiring a router reset as well! If you have a Netgear Orbi router, Meross Homekit-approved products simply won’t work. I ended up getting the customer a new, high powered router to replace the mesh system – one that allows the setup of separate SSIDs for 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz bands. Viola – zero issues with all Meross devices for the past several days. While these Meross devices are technically working as designed now, I have to give 1 star because all competitor bulbs (Feit, Voc, Nanoleaf, Philips, Sylvania) do not have this problem and can seamlessly work on single-SSID mesh networks with no issues. These bulbs should work properly in all modern wi-fi setups and, if not, the manufacturer should go out if its way to indicate the incompatibilities. ... show more

  • Easy Peasy
Plugged into the wall, entered the code on my iPhone and was ready to go. I have my Christmas tree plugged into this unit so I can easily turn the tree on and off with my phone. So easy and convenient. Works perfectly with my iPhone 13 and my iPad Air.
