These knee and elbow pads are a nice quality. They do, however, seem to run a little small. My grand daughter really likes the colors on them. She does, however, have a little challenge getting them on so will probably need some adult help for at least a little while. While they are a bit snug they do seem to fit well. The sparkle of these pads doesn't come across in the photos. These have GREAT sparkle and were even better looking in person. There are very cute accents everywhere on these pads. The pad set is very well made with a decent balance between cushioning and protective hard plastic. They're neither too thin nor too bulky to wear comfortably. The stitching is tight and uniform throughout the entire set. The hook and loop straps make size adjustments easy and seem durable enough to last. I wish the included drawstring bag had a little extra room for storing a helmet but it is also well made, holds all of the pads, and is super cute. Better safe than sorry, right? Well, with these pads, you don't have to choose. Our girls love them and want to wear them all the time. Yes, even inside the house. They seem very sturdy made - certainly more than enough to handle kids weight. They're quite cushion-y, even the wrist pads. Best of all, our girls love them. They say they make them look like mermaids! Fit wise, Medium size are a tiny bit big on our 6 year old and just right on our 8 year old. Both girls are on the smaller side. I see some negative remarks about the storage bag being too small - it is indeed on the smaller side, but if you tie up the pads one into the other, everything fits in nicely there. ... show more
