It's Chinese made but the quality is decent. I did have an issue with my bike as a wheel was bent, but after contacting the seller everything was taken care of. I do recommend taking the time to check your bike out(mine also did not have sufficient grease in the bearings, but that's an easy fix. The bike is very lightweight and easy for my boy to pedal and use. The media could not be loaded. When this bike arrived, I was super excited. I got my daughter this as one of her birthday gifts to replace her old tiny princess bike and am so happy I went with a BMX bike. After searching for what seems like forever, I came across this one and from what I read I knew it would be perfect. I was skeptical and afraid it was too good to be true but am happy to report this bike is as good as people claim. So far, my daughter has been thrilled to death with it and really enjoys riding it. It’s a pretty, all-around good quality bicycle. It’s a light pink color that is simply gorgeous and is the perfect height for my little princess. I ordered the 16” tires and it screams big girl and is just what she needed. The frame is heavy duty and much thicker than I thought it would be. In comparison to her old bike, this one is better built and a lot safer. It’s one piece making it super easy to put together. It’s lightweight and very comfortable to ride; all in which are a must. It’s very sturdy and easy to control. It has wide, thick tires so the bike rides nice and smooth. She easily can go over bumps making it good for dirt rides through the woods. It has training wheels that are super easy to adjust and work great. There aren’t any funky noises or wiggling. Most importantly, the break-system is the best. It has a dual-break system making stops simple and smooth. As much as I like the bike, I do have a few complaints. Firstly, I will warn that it doesn't have a kick-stand. My daughter still needs the training wheels so this hasn’t really been an issue for me but may be an issue once I remove them. Another concern I have is that the pedals do not have bearings. While this isn't an issue now, I am concerned that they will quickly wear out, but only time will tell. I will update as time goes by. Overall, I would recommend this bike.     • What a bummer!!
I was so excited about the bike and felt that I had done thorough research. As an avid rider myself, I feel very informed about bikes and this one really stood out to me provided it’s design and features, such as light weight frame, disc brakes, and triangulated seat post shape to always keep it aligned with the frame to name a few. Unfortunately upon arrival, it began to reveal one issue after the next. The first is that the disc brake rubbed extensively when I pulled it out of the package. I assumed it was just a misaligned back tire improperly installed, but after grave attempts to correct the issue, it appeared the disc might have been slightly bent, although not to the naked eye. As I installed the few parts required for assembly I quickly noticed that not one piece of hardware was tightened for riding conditions (not an exaggeration), but only to essentially keep the bike together. After my daughters second ride, the front brake began to feverishly shake, which concluded I hadn’t thoroughly checked all of the hardware. As a means to get her safely back to the car, where I’d stashed my tools, I hand tightened them a dozen times. Once I was able to tighten them with tools, I realized that a plastic part (possibly a spacer) was broken and the brakes were never able to be adjusted correctly without one side completely sticking every time they were used. While not a big fan of front brakes, especially for a kid, I simply deactivated them. The final determination to return the bike was that the seat post was incapable of staying raised, no matter how tight the quick release handle and compression ring were. My daughter is 3, and although very tall, only weighs 37lbs. I got the 16” bike, which was a great fit for her height, but certainly wouldn’t have grown with her without the ability to adjust this. ... show more
