Just put it together out of the box. Took me about 10 minutes and came with all of the tools needed. Seems to be made of good quality hardware and frame. Tires don't come inflated so you'll need an air compressor or pump. Rides smooth and sturdy. Time will tell if it holds up under normal use.

Bike worked as it should. The 2 pegs were great for other kids riding on them and held up without any issues. Seat could be raised fairly high which was good since my son is over 5'6". He's been enjoying the bike BUT much better with new brake pads that work correctly. The ones that came with the bike were incredibly soft and lasted less than 2 days! Unbelievable! When he told me about not having brakes, new ones were ordered and installed. I purchased "Hapleby 4PCS Premium Bike Brake Pads, Professional Mountain Bicycle V-Brake Pads". They went on easily and worked perfectly for weeks (they do not show any wear). So, I recommend it for kids who want to have fun riding a BMX style bike, but STRONGLY recommend to also order a good set of brake pads to put on the bike before they go riding! ... show more

This bike is nice looking and seems to work well with the exception of the brakes which are broken after 1 ride. From what I can tell, the spring for the brake calipers is not working properly so one pad always rubs on the wheel. I had to buy new brakes for a brand new bike.
